The craze for Salman Khan has reached insane levels in the Hindi Film Industry, but even that pales in comparison to the kind of insanity and sheer craze that only a Rajnikanth film can generate.

AirAsia, a budget airline, has arranged special ‘Kabali’ flights from Bangalore to Chennai. It will carry about 180 fans of the superstar to watch the film on the day of its release. The menu on-board includes some of Rajnikanth’s favourite food items.
A woman, who claims to be the biggest Rajni fan in the world, has designed sarees with Rajnikanth’s face on it. She’ll be wearing the saree while watching the film on Friday morning.
Luxury Hotels in Bangalore and Chennai have organised special screenings of the film at their property. Tickets are said to be priced between 1000 – 2000 rupees.
Another crazy fan of the superstar has booked the first 10 shows of the film – starting with the first show on Friday all the way to the last show on Saturday – he’ll be watching all of them!
Since the film is about the working class, a Rajnikanth fan club will be distributing welding glasses, helmets and gloves to people who are in need.
While Bollywood stars are known to fight it out for holiday weekends, a Rajnikanth film release automatically becomes a holiday for a lot of people in South India. Quite a few offices across cities in Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerala and Andhra Pradesh will remain shut on Friday to celebrate the release of Kabali.
Quite obviously, the advance booking is beyond extraordinary. Trade sources say, more than 80-85% tickets for the entire weekend has been sold in advance in Tamilnadu.

here in pakistan i whenever any hrithik’s movies release i buy 20 plus tickets for me family i arrange transportation for them all on my expensive despite that i dont have a job

Best lines. There is nothing called “Insane craze” for a certain Bollywood star. Let him come out of his comfort zone i.e. Festive weekend, then we will see what “insane craze” he commands among his fans.
I am a devotee of SRK, but I don’t have a second thought reg the megastardom of Rajni Sir.
No body from Bollywood is even closer to him when it comes to sheer fan following and mass hysteria for his movies. And I am not saying all this just because I read this article or I heard it somewhere, but because I spent considerable amount of time in South India and have observed his ‘god alike’ status among his fans.
However, it’s not only movies but also, his philanthropic works which have helped him to attain this status.
On one hand, few actors have commercialized the charity works by opening useless outlets and merchandise, while on the other hand, most of the charity works of Rajni Sir are running in the background and no body even knows about them except those beneficiaries who get benefited from his aids.
In North India, you have the audacity to criticize a star if you don’t like his acting or other aspects, but you dare not to criticize Rajni Sir in south (particularly in Tamilnadu). Within minutes, you will be beaten red and blue if you are found doing so!

I completely understood the context of your sentence. You just want to convey that Kabali will collect less than the craps of your bhaijan. That’s true but that is not something which defines the stardom.
Yes, since the reach of south Indian movies is confined within 4-5 South Indian states, collections might be on lower side, but that is not the only parameter of judging one’s stardom.
