We have just received an invitation from Red Chillies Entertainment for the music launch of Ra One on September 12th 2011. The music will be released by Shahrukh Khan and Kareena Kapoor.
We have received a record number of e-mails asking about the music release of Ra One, which is already a huge hit, thanks to the leaked version of Akon’s Chammak Challo.
So there you go, the official confirmation of the release date from Shahrukh Khan’s production house. You can buy the music CDs on 12th September. We will be publishing all the lyrics of the songs on the same day too.

pls guys dont waste ur money on ra.one cd,i listened to it and believe me it is backwas nothing to write home about only chamak challo make sense coming a little close is dildara,others are the worst music of the decade,im highly sad and disapointed especially with criminal(akon 2nd song),dont even download it and save ur time.

He even copied all the stunts or action scenes from Dark knight, iron man, spiderman,rajinikant(robot)etc. If u see the promos all the scenes look familiar. Where is the originality?copy cat .. as always srk has nothing new to deliver …not even the poster.HA HA HA. And Shahrukh want Ra.One to go International. The International Audience will send it Right Back to India. Shahrukh is Over- Hyped, His Films are Over- Hyped and everything else about him is Over- hyped. SRK will live to Juice the last Penny from all of you. So go ahead, get caught up.

After a long time I want to buy a song (Dildara) but its a day after the release and dont know where i can buy the cd and or download the song wether free or by paying, Itunes did not have it last time i checked?

A few points:
1. Passing the 100cr mark is only a recent phenomemon: multiplexes and a more professionalised film making machine from Film City, Mumbai. “Picture abhi bakhi hai…”
2. Pre-this phenomenon SRK ruled supreme at the box office for years on a stable constant success tangent. Others had peaks ands spikes but not the same type of box office reliability: that is why SRK has been the darling of the directors and producers. Why do you think mostly directors rushed to SRK’s side when he had his verbal fight with Salman at Katrina’s birthday a few years ago, whilst mostly actors rushed to Salman.
3. The days of any one actor or movie dominating for years are over. The lifespan of being the best “ever” at anything is now only a few weeks. SRK, and Big B before him, are the last of their kinds: the globally recognised and appreciated Hindi film superstar.
4. Aamir has had ability exceeding others in certain aspects e.g. filmaking and Salman has one of highest, if not the highest, fan followings amongst young females and males due to his looks. However, on an overall basis, SRK convincingly exceeds in star power and commercial success.
5. All three main Khans are heading towards 50 – yes 50 now. If they want to cash in big time perhaps they could find a way of getting into a movie together. Plenty of script ideas can work to massage their respective egos. If they are a “Khan” and “man” enough then why not get into a movie together and let the audience enjoy and be the true judge of who can provide the most convincing and entertaining performance in any particular category: comedy, drama, action etc.
6. Ra.One has the formula for a major success. Ra.One can benefit from an opening higher than the current record holder Bodyguard due to: a more professionalised approach to all aspects of tis making and promotion, SRK fans, a wave of increasing Kareena fans, the building buzz and appetite for big movies (as per the phenomenon mentioned above), media hype, curiosity, a healty dose of quality VFX songs story and novelty – and the fact that Ra.One is more like a movie someone in the “west” would watch and the fact that its main male protagonist (SRK) is appreciated and recognised in places Salman, Aamir and other leading actors probably never heard of.
7. Don 2 will be a major success becuase of essentially: eveything siad about Ra.One above minus the reference to Kareena (the trailer itself for Don 2 makes you think that in its genre Don 2 is on par if not better than equivalent Hollywood movies), and the run off buzz from Ra.One for SRK.
