Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan congratulated S.S. Rajamouli and his team on the blockbuster success of ‘Bahubali 2: The Conclusion’ and said the film should not be compared to his all-time blockbuster ‘Dangal’ which has just surpassed ‘Bahubali 2’ to become the highest grossing Indian film of all time.
On asked about the ‘Bahubali 2’ vs ‘Dangal’ comparisons in the media, Aamir said “I am really happy that ‘Dangal’ is getting appreciated in China and all over the world. I don’t think we should compare two films. ‘Baahubali 2’ is a very successful film. I haven’t watched it yet but I am hearing a lot of good stuff about it from everyone around me. I would like to congratulate Rajamouli and his entire team”
“I feel we shouldn’t make a comparison between ‘Dangal’ and ‘Baahubali 2’ because both films are good in their own space and above all both films are Indian films which are making its mark all over the world. I am very proud of ‘Baahubali’ as well” he added.
While ‘Bahubali 2’ became the first film to collect 1500 crore globally, ‘Dangal’ has reached nearly 1700 crore worldwide and could soon become the first Indian film to collect 2000 crore.
Aamir hasn’t yet celebrated the success of his film in China. His first public statement comes on the sidelines of the world premiere of Sachin Tendulkar’s biopic on Wednesday.
