Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has done well in its second weekend at the box office. The Hindi version of the film has collected Rs 193 crore so far in 11 days. It should cross the 200 crore mark by the end of its second week.
The film has found appreciation among the family audience in smaller cities and towns, which has ensured decent growth in business on Saturday and Sunday.
Tamasha releases in theatres this weekend, but that film is unlikely to affect the business of PRDP at centres where it’s performing well. The Salman Khan starrer should finish with lifetime business of around Rs 220 crore.

Still Salman gave a 200 crs plus grosser with such a Genre. PRDP was always a 50-50 and risky project, had it liked by youths as same as Kick it would have done at least 280 crs but it did not impress them still movie a good watch with families !!!!!!!!!!!

@ Sandeep : As per Salman fans’ favorite website (BOI), the movie budget is 180 cr. Production cost 100 cr (without Salman Khan fee), prints and advertising 30 crore, satellite with Salman Khan at 50 crore value. Total budget as per them is 180 crore.
Salman fans are quoting BOI for opening day collections of PRDP because those collections are higher than that of HNY. But for total budget they are not believing in 180 cr because if a movie with 180 cr budget earns 220 cr it is difficult to call it a superhit let alone block buster. For opening day collections they are following BOI and for overall collections they are following Indicine. And regarding budget figures they are again not following BOI.
So very confusing attitude overall !!!!
