Prem Ratan Dhan Payo has recorded the third highest first weekend collections. The film has surpassed the first 3-day business of Salman Khan’s last release ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, even though it had one less holiday.
The Hindi version of PRDP has collected Rs 101.47 crore in 3 days and the Telugu / Tamil version has contributed around 2.75 crore to the total.
Prem Ratan Dhan Payo is only behind the weekend business of Dhoom 3 and Happy New Year. Dhoom 3 was the third film in the industry’s most successful franchise and Happy New Year had two full holidays (Diwali and Sunday).

I went through various articles and nowhere it was mentioned that HNY is releasing on 5000 screens. Instead they have said that it’s eying for 5000 screens including all versions. So that doesn’t mean that it actually released on 5000 screens . No body has the actual number of screens handy.

From Monday, business will come in dingle digits and HNY’s life time record in big danger in mars. LOL. Just pray that it comes close to YJHD’s record.
