Like we mentioned in our box office report last evening, Prem Ratan Dhan Payo was steady on its 6th day at the box office. The film has added Rs 12 crore on Tuesday. The total collections in India now stands at Rs 155.43 crore.
The first week business will be around the 165-166 crore mark and the 8-day business is likely to be in the 175 crore range.
PRDP has no competition from Hindi films this weekend, but a Hollywood biggie ’Spectre’ is getting a massive release at multiplexes. The James Bond movie, which is also releasing in Hindi, is likely to affect the multiplex business of PRDP.
Salman’s 2nd highest grosser is Kick, which collected Rs 233 crore during Eid last year. Can Prem Ratan Dhan Payo surpass the collections of Kick, or will it finish as Salman’s 3rd highest grosser – is something that remains to be seen.

@All relax.. PRDP will grow this weekend as Spectre will bomb even at the Indian box office just like how it tanked here in the US.
That movie was such a snoozefest with me and a couple of Indian and American friends slept while watching the movie.. Only Daniel Craig, Batista and the opening action scene at Mexico were the best parts of the movie. Avoid Spectre and save money for Tamasha..

Yes I did say for JTHJ but not for collections but for manipulation of number of screens which was done by Adi Chopra booking screen using ETT, In that also they need Salman’s name and stardom. Remember now ? same thing happened during CE and OUATIMD but RCE was producers so I called SRK as manipulator !!!!!!!!!! Got it or you still wanna hear more ??
