PM Modi sends his good wishes to Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s Hollywood film

Filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra, who has written, directed and produced the Hollywood film ‘Broken Horses’, invited Prime Minister Narendra Modi to a special screening of his upcoming film which releases in theatres on April 10.

Due to his extremely busy work schedule, Modi could not make it to the screening, but sent a message to Chopra thanking him for his invitation and wishing the movie well.

Set in the shadows of US-Mexico border gang wars, ‘Broken Horses’ is a thriller about bonds of brotherhood, laws of loyalty and futility of violence.

The script of the film has been co-written by Vidhu Chopra and Abhijat Joshi – who has worked on the script of historic Bollywood films like 3 Idiots and PK.

‘Broken Horses’ stars Vincent D’Onofrio, Anton Yelchin, Chris Marquette and Maria Valverde in pivotal roles.

  • Good news our pm Narendra Modi ji cares for everything.
All the best to Vidhu Vinod Chopra and his team for Broken Horse.

  • This year, I didn’t find any movie worth checking out on the 1st day itself, not even H’wood.
Broken Horses will be an exception.
    This will be EPIC!

  • the movie releases on April 10 ?? that means this coming Friday!!! oh sorry to say this but there seems to be absolutely no buzz around the film. I wish if VVC would promote the movie very well.
    anyway all the best VVC.

  • A message like this is stooping very low for a PM seat that democratically represents 1.25 Billion Indians.

Modi should have his priorities straight. He can save his message and congratulation for a Bollywood film or non-Bollywood film that ever wins a Acadamy Award (Oscar) for Best Foreign Language Film category.

  • Hollywood Variety Magazine’s Keningsberg destroyed Broken Horses in his review:

“This overwrought tale of two orphaned brothers and their violent hometown reunion fails to convince on several crucial levels, including plotting and dialogue.”

So much for India’s Ang lee wannabe.

  • perhaps he is the first indian PM who is highly active on social media to make a direct conversation with youth of the country.
he is leaving no stone left to make a direct contact with citizens of our country.
a perfect tech savy PM he is.
each nd every single moment that india can make a proud is appreciated by PM without a miss.
this kind of gesture can encourage all activists.
    good luck.

  • great pm…. RASHAN KAM BHASHAN JYADA…MORE SPEECH LESS WORK…
he talks more about cricket n films than land aqisition,n religious controvercies….. its gud that he wish VVC… but if he has time to do these tweets why dnt he talk about his ministers statements…

  • with due respect we elect a pm..who cant understand this movie if he watch it…. terrible for biggest democracy on planet…n contry in which people can survive on on lomg speeches n promises..or media managed hypes… GOD bless us..
