After just 15 days, PK has become the highest grosser of all time, beating Aamir Khan’s last release Dhoom 3. The Rajkumar Hirani film has now collected Rs 285.22 crore and should become the first film to cross the 300 crore mark at the end of this weekend.
PK has already set records in 8 circuits and should eventually set records in every circuit except Tamilnadu and Kerala. While the overseas collections are likely to fall below Dhoom 3, PK will become the first Indian film to gross 600 crore worldwide.

I cant beleive that a movie which is not even an action or comedy in genre has done so brilliantly from day 1 itself. After back to back 7blockbusters of Salman, I thought now only action moviea will work in bollywood but Aamir has proved it wrong. Being a Srkian I respect him the most, and believe that he has overtaken srk both in India and overseas. Respect ur acting skill and amazing sense of humour. SRK u have learn something from the King Of Bollywood .
It is superosm to see gud films doing such gret business.. With very little promotion n no glossy songs, the film has braken all the damn records and created a new benchmarks.
Hats off to Aamir for giving us the kind of films which can be remembered forever. Truly the most versatile actor after Naseeruddin shah and Kamal Hassan.
And if you say, its the script which he choses makes his films such a success, then be it. He makes sure that he delivers what we pay for. Simply shows that he ia wise and super intelligent. Though others lack this quality and lose halfway. Truly the rancho of bollywood, others are just Chatur.

PK restores faith in Bollywood audience. When utter garbage movies like Kick and HNY were the highest grossers of the year, you wonder are audience of Hindi cinema brain dead .
The movies were so bad. Kick was a atrocious rehash of Dhoom 2 and Jugnu. HNY was bankrupt man utterly boring version of Oceans 13 which itself was terrible. I have seen some bad movies in the last five years but these two take the cake. if you go purely on entertainment value these two were pathetic Actually even a Bang Bang was more entertaining . PK however is in a totally different stratosphere. It is a pity it did not collect 100 crore in second week due to some fanatics banning an cold wave.
This record will be broken in 2019 by Christmas release by Raju Hirani starring RK and HRO a homage to inception of Google

Stardom is a star’s ability to get people to throng to the theaters. I wouldn’t call a 26cr opening day as amazing especially when D3 opened at the same time last year at 36cr. PK had to rely on positive WOM to show outstanding growth which it did. Lifetime collections always depend on the content and how well the movie is liked which is usually consistent with aamir’s movies but can’t get that confused with stardom
It’s really really surprising that an actor like aamir khan who has least fan following amongst all other actors like srk, salman, akshay, hrithik, ajay and many others, but still his movies are all time blockbusters not just in India but abroad as well, not just that but highest grossers of all time. 1st ghajini, than 3 idiots, than dhoom 3 and now PK. he keeps low profile, doesn’t attend any awards functions, doesns’t stay in limelight in media, doesn’t stay in any controversies.etc.

It was Aamir-Raju only who brought audience and left everybody behind.Aamir haters want to degrade his achievement by many excuses as they shocked.Its our duty to be humble and bring our actor up but not degrading other actors.Being humble I’d best thing dude.After all we are winners and there is no excuses for winners. @tiger Aamir and Raju had two back to back all time grosser along with atbb but Salman-Sooraj had two atbb but only hahk was all time grosser while mpk fall short than 1 crore.
But practically Salman-Sooraj two atbb is higher than Aamir-Raju.As both Salman and sooraj started their career with mpk and made the film highest grosser of that decade.With hahk they collected 4.67 times than Sholay.Incredible.
