We have received hundreds of requests for a poll between two of the biggest blockbusters of 2014 and 2015 (so far) – Rajkumar Hirani’s PK and Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Both films were critically acclaimed, carried incredible word-of-mouth and will be the only two films in the 300 crore club.

Im split down the middle but I would say Im more an Aamir fan as 51% of my loyalty is with Aamir as compared with 49% towards bhai but I had to vote for BB purely bcoz I love my films to have a good song or 2 n for selfie n eid ki party n zindagi song edges it for BB. Both are great films but the bigger surprise was definitely BB.

i like amir khan a lot and pk was a entertaining movie but second half of pk disappointed me according to rajkumr hirani standards and oh my god was a great movie of same concept so my vote goes to bb.and also 3 idiots all time best movie of this century till now.

@Legend Aamir Khan calm down. I am getting pissed off by your constant negativities against srk. You are very cheap person and you also wrote disgusting things against srk and his mother on his mother’s birthday article and I will never forgive you for that. The fact is I am aamir fan and i bash srk only if his cheap fans like @sss, @iamdhakkan, @javed and few others bash aamir and that’s why I bash him to shut their mouth. But your comments are extremely negative and cheap in not only here but in other websites as well. I just can’t stand any fellow aamir fans to stoop down to such cheap level as srk fans.
I have not seen Bajrani Bhaijaan yet unfortunately so I can’t compare pk and BB as film wise.
But in my opinion I think the success of PK is bigger than Bajrangi Bhaijaan due to following reasons.
1. It was a Raju hirani film who had outstanding track record,it was least good film as compared to his earlier classic. BB is kabir khan film which is not that huge as hirani in people memory so expectation wasn’t big.
2. Aamir khan the actor to whom audience hopes that he will come with good films. PK undoubtly as performance wise Aamir one of the best, but as a film pk was no where close to Aamir earlier classics like 3I,RDB,TZP in recent time. Salman on other hand known as actor works in masala film having less content but BB is surprise for every one and undoubtly most appreciated film in long time.
3. It was reunion of unargubly most loved film of last 20 years 3I, so the expectation of all was huge with Raju-Aamir combo, pk has no match with 3i, but look the trending of the movie unlike 3i , pk didn’t have highest weekend but still it has beaten the last non-aamir highest grosser with 125cr margin in domestic. Salman-Kabir ETT got mixed response so there was not any big expectation that was in case with Raju-Aamir.
4. Pk was highly objected by many people due to anti-religion, nudity etc. No one can criticise BB for its feel good story and plot.
5. Pk story was also compared with OMG, so it questions negativity for pk as it was a copy and blah blah.
BB is a unique story and story in Salman film means huge advantage as its rare while for Aamir its exception that Aamir came with bad scripts though d3 come in this category for many but its rare.
6. Pk wasn’t a clean family entertainer, dancing cars,Aamir entry,condom jokes etc goes against family film. BB is complete family entertainer and feel good movie with a message, also Indo-pak theme always touch sentiments of people.
7. Pk was a highly risky movie, there was always a chance that film on religions should not be taken good by every one. There was no risk in BB.
Still after two weeks we will see both BB and PK at same level. So BB has all positives as compared to PK, BB surprised with its quality while pk meet expectation of many and also disappointed many.
BB has competition from Bahubali but the success of BB also has share from Bahubali writer who is the writer of BB.
So overall BB is definitely satisfying more audience as compared to pk due to above mention factor. And no doubt BB is a great film that’s why it collecting very good.
But Still BB Box office is similar to PK boxoffice performance that a easy proof that PK also found huge appreciation when it released.
Irony is that a True Sakman fans finding logic in complete imaginative plot of PK kind of movie though he is easily convinced that Pak army allowed Salman to enter in Pak “taaro me neeche se”. ROFL. Bhai tu pk ko bhul ja, BB ki success enjoy kar.PK has achieved outstanding success worldwide and your kind of people doesn’t effect it success.

honestly pk is very average movie of Raju hirani.it was bellow expection.the main theam was very similar to omg. except amir’s acting pk is nothing.
havent watched bajrangi bhaijaan yet.but I m gonna watch this weekend.

Depends on which message u liked better – PK message – some people use god’s name to do business and they tend to impact follower’s life so as to improve their own business. PK movie was to showcase such evil practices in our society. Fortunately or unfortunately , the message came out as anti to one of the religions mainly, which is fine as India is Hindu majority country so message should be conveyed to majority only. BB message – people of India and Pakistan , Hindu and Muslim all want peace ,they want to leave in harmony with each other. There was no villain shown in movie as such but using Pakistan Kabir tried to show that we may consider Pakistan as enemies but there people will helpline common Indian people if required . Few politicians who want to keep polarizing situations for their personal benefits. This is my first comment in indicine , I have seen many guys commenting how is it possible that pak army can allow salman to enter . But I hav a question for then hirani used ufo and alien to showcase his story – how much of that is realistic . We didn’t question hirani-Amir logics but with salman its this mindset he always do unrealistic things. I mean he asked permission from human only and for me this has higher probability of being realistic than having an alien . Hoping indicine will post this message.
