We have received hundreds of requests for a poll between two of the biggest blockbusters of 2014 and 2015 (so far) – Rajkumar Hirani’s PK and Kabir Khan’s Bajrangi Bhaijaan.
Both films were critically acclaimed, carried incredible word-of-mouth and will be the only two films in the 300 crore club.

Ofcourse both films are extra ordinary but Pk is unique. I love both Khans.

Pk was good..but BB is such a beautifull story..u just cant hate this movie..just like 3 idiots..this one is salman classic..
On the other hand pk didn’t impressed me that much..the concept was cool acting was nice..but overall film didn’t lived it to expectations..

I dont know what bollywood trying to do. First they spread love btw indo-pak by making BB. And after a month Phantom Of Saif ali Khan which again bring hateness btw indo-pak. Kabir khan i didnt get you?
BB is a story of love, responsiblities, humanism, beyond boundaries. BB going all d way to become highest bollywood grosser ever in India. Watchout for 3rd weekend.
Only bajrangi bhaijan……the classic movie of the year
1. Story-wise: BB wins it hands down. PK had a cliched plot and moved very predictably in second half. BB’s screenplay is far more smooth and the transition from one scene to the next is coherent. PK is really rough in the second half and the pacing is very bumpy with many forced scenes.
BB: 1 PK: 0
2. Dialogues and Theme: Not even an iota of a doubt here. PK’s dialogues are gems. Very few dialogues stand out in BB (personal opinion here) The scenes in PK are so intelligent, they literally gave a response to the protestors even before the protests began.
Talking about the theme, BB was a very safe film. PK is a brute force attack on organized religion with a neat coating of humor and satire. The success of PK with it’s bold theme is rather astounding and it deserves an additional point here because BB was a popular sentiment film!
BB: 1 PK: 1
3. Acting: Nothing to separate the two films. Salman in BB and Aamir in PK, both gave their career best!
BB: 2 PK: 2
4. Direction: Again very difficult to chose. But I’d go with Kabir Khan here. With films like Lage Raho Munna Bhai and 3 idiots behind him, PK wasn’t Hirani’s best film. Bajrangi Bhaijaan is hands down the best film of Kabir Khan after Kabul Express.
BB: 3 PK: 2
5. Message of the film: This might be controversial for most people, but I very strongly believe PK gave a very very relevant message. PK covers the message in BB in a much more holistic way. BB is strictly focused on Indo-Pak relations, but PK goes beyond it and questions what people have done to humanity with religion. Why have we separated people based on their religion? A child comes on earth with no religious baggage, but he’s forced to see things only in a particular way (based on his religion) PK offers us a completely fresh point of view as the film sees the world through the eyes of a neutral protagonist. whereas BB has to carry the baggage of Pawan Chaturvedi’s religious beliefs!
BB: 3 PK: 3
In all, it’s hard to separate these two films. While BB will be remembered as a true-blue crowd-pleaser, PK will be remembered as visionary film!
BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN anyday…
No doubt pk is a good film but if we observe carefully the novelty factor is not there.. If you see pk runs on same pattern as 3 idiots or munnabhai series films.. Just the characters and situations are different.. Whereas bajrangi bhaijaan scores high on novelty factor.. Performance wise both films stands equal but as far as content is concerned bajrangi bhaijaan is far better than Pk..
Bajrangi Bhaijaan all the way…..Salman gave a real performance after long time..

Between bb n pk…it is always bb…..but 3i is anytime best in front of two….even no srk movie can match 3i innlast 10 yrs
Well it just seems bb won’t beat pk. I wounder if bb would have been released at christmus it would certainly beat pk. But never mind when it comes to bo its salman and aamir. I still wonder what was wrong with ett that critics dont like that movie, same goes with bodyguard ,kick was not that great and i accept that. Critcs think salman movies has no story. but what kind of critcs would search and find story in commercial movies? Eg: avatar do u find any stories in it,jw, avenger 1 and 2 etc etc.this r some eg from hollyood movies For me commercial movies are pacage of everything which u dont find in so called good storytelling movies such movies r boring to watch. But sometimes commercial movies can have universal appealing stories. Eg bb,pk,etc. So my fellow cricts admit it that u r so dumb that u never find a difference between commercial and ur favourite movies.and ur uncapable of rating them. Thats why critics review never stop movies become blockbuster.
P.k best film ever.
Bajrangi was simple yet to the point. Pk tried to hard to give message (creating all alien nonsnese). For me , Bajrangi anyday.
I think realistically no one truly expected Bajrangi Bhaijaan to out grosser Pk’s second weekend despite not having a holiday unlike Pk who had a plenty of Holidays.
I don’t think there’s anything wrong in healthy comparison debater over the two movies.
Its unavoidably really with either coming from both Sallu and Aamir.
There is no reason no to like both, in the same way both Sallu and SRK can be liked (innit?) =-O.
Both movies have a family friendly appeal .and also unique novelty of being the first film ( BB) sends a peace message between India and Pakistan. Whilst PK had a huge anticipation.. Raju and Aamir combo after ATBB 3I..it was also similar in tone to OMG which was critically acclaimed.

pk sustained all expectation and bb is unexpectedly good . so pk is better as it was having more pressure to becoming content oriented movie

Collection wise also #BB impress me competition with #BAAHUBALI but still it’z biz is higher than #PK from end of day 12

I loved both PK and BB so it doesn’t matter foh me which Film tops.

Bajrangi bhaijaan is better movie director kabir khan gave us a meaningfull movie without any religious hurting. but pk doesnt talk about positivities of any religion but show us a alien’s vision (don’t know why people beleive on hindu gods but they beleive on alien). alien just give his vision to us and go. without any positivity they showed only negativities but bajrangi entirely different movie. love bajrangi.
