Pics: Hrithik Roshan at Madame Tussauds

Hrithik Roshan has finally (after years of rumours) been immortalized at Madame Tussauds in London and the Bollywood superstar dedicated the proud moment to his family, who were all present at the unveiling.

Speaking to those present the actor said “I was stunned when I saw my wax figure and I am thrilled that my entire family is with me sharing this wonderful moment. More than the wax figure its a matter of emotions and pride that my family is there to see all this today. It is made up of what I have received from my parents, grandparents, sister and wife. They have made me what I am. I dedicate this to my family”.

Hrithik Roshan Madame Tussauds PicThe actor soon got quite nostalgic thinking about his days as a child when he visited the world famous Madame Tussauds “I was nine years old, holidaying in London with my family when my grandfather and I went to Madame Tussauds. We had to stand in line for 45 minutes and while I was jumping up and down with impatience and excitement, my grandfather waited patiently. I even told him that we should go and come back the next day but my grandfather waited till we could enter Madame Tussauds. Today I feel he’s like that excited child I was.”

Hrithik becomes the youngest Bollywood star and the only actor after Shahrukh Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai to be immortalized at the museum.

Grandfather J Om Prakash, father Rakesh Roshan, mother Pinky, wife Suzzanne and his two kids Hrehaan and Hredaan were besides him as the crowd cheered Hrithik’s wax statue captured from his look from his biggest blockbuster Dhoom 2.
