The theatrical trailer of Phantom is out and the film is being promoted as “Produced by the makers of KICK” and directed by “Director of Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan”
The much-delayed Phantom finally sees the light of day next month and it couldn’t have released at a better time. Kabir Khan is being hailed as one of the best directors in the industry and he returns to directing a sleek action thriller.
“America ne Osama ko andhar ghus ke maara, toh hum yeh kaam kyu nahi kar sakte” asks Saif Ali Khan in one of the many hard-hitting dialogues in the trailer.
Footage of India’s most wanted man, Hafiz Saeed, addressing a rally in Pakistan, where he asks the Indian government “Have you proven that ISI was behind the 26/11 Mumbai attacks? It’s been 6 years now, what have you done?”
Unlike Bajrangi Bhaijaan where the message was of peace between the two countries, director Kabir Khan takes on the Pakistan’s state-backed terrorists attacks and the Indian government’s inability to take strong action. Like Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub says in the trailer “Yeh log kitna bhi attack karle, hum log toh kabhi kuch nahi karte sir, sirf cricket khelna band karte hai sir”
Moving on to the performances, from whatever we get to see of him, Saif Ali Khan has does well, but his performance looks similar to ‘Agent Vinod’. Katrina looks beautiful, but her dialogue delivery is unsatisfactory yet again.
Overall, a good trailer, a little too similar to films like ‘Baby’ and ‘Agent Vinod’, but the overwhelmingly positive response to ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ should bring a lot more people to the theatres to watch Kabir’s latest film ‘Phantom’.
The film releases on 28th August 2015.

man today it’s like a common thing in trailers where the name of previous big hits of same person shown in the trailer …!

Trailer is banned in Pakistan itself so movie is a big no as well! I hope it just doesn’t show that Pakistan told this group to attack Mumbai, as this is not true. They attacked on their own decisions not and no one is even sure that the people shown in this movie were involved at all
The trailer is outstanding, kabir khan has proved after Bajrangi Bhaijaan that he is best director of Bollywood after Gurudutt and Sooraj Badjatya. These Raju hirani sucked, no where close to kabir khan. Raju hirani films munna bhai, LRM,3i and pk were no where near to classic like Kabul express,new York,ett and BB in terms of footfalls and appreciation.
I will definitely watched the movie and hope it made me cry like I did in kick.

Some morons like @imakn,@sss and @romance are saying Farah and Rohit shetty are bigger and better director than Raju hirani. Show some respect to the only director of Indian cinema whose first 4 film were classics and huge boxoffics success and appreciate ww. Only director who had given two back to back atbb with Aamir both domestic and overseas. Hypocrisy at its best.
Moving aside the trailer of phantom is good not great, story is looking solid but I don’t think film work at boxoffice due to release time,said sinking career and similarity with baby.
All the Pakistanis visitors don’t get hyper, we all know the terrisom hub in Pakistan’s, film about terrorist not about common people and we heard how the series of blast hapeens in Pakistan which not conduct by Indians but only because of internal terrorism.

D-Day was a good movie when I saw it on tv but it then annoyed me afterwards as it cant happen in real life. Americans must be saluted for getting Osama even if it took a decade- when can we do the same…?
I have seen movies like Border, Sarfarosh n Gadar growing up that made me feel proud n communities around me feel tall, powerful n invincible when we had tensions with our neighbour. Todays generation can view such films with equal pride but soon reality sets in n that realisation is that our Govt are all talk n no action…!

I think this kind of movie needs a strong villain . in phantom trailer we see there is no such strong villain like Baby.
baby was good movie but it needed a strong villain.there was kk menon in baby but he was completed wasted there.

Kabir khan has Pakistan phobia! A country which itself fighting against terrorism, how can back it any terrorist activity ! Terrorists have no religion or country. They are just killing machine which operate on money who ever give money can avail their services! And Hafiz Saeed is not so easy to uproot or killed or even touched! Phantom is just a day dream of Kabir!

India had just 26/11 but Pakistan has suffered with such blasting and attacks every year.And man no one knew the real story behinds Osama.His dead body wasnt shown to media at all.In Baluchistan undeniable proofs of Indian involvement were found.And about Hafiz Saeed yes he barks against India but that does not mean he conducted that attacks.(BTW some shocking facts were revealed by a Minister or Indian officers about the involvement of Indian agencies in 26/11.I forgot his name).And leave RNBDJ yes I love srk but lives of people value more than a movie so keep that thing aside.

Its not about that because Aamir I’d there so I am expecting the respect for Raju hirani, its only because of Raju outstanding contribution which deserves respect. Mind you I was fan of Raju since I seen LRM as I watched Munna bhai MBBS later than LRM, at the time of 3i I was so excited as my fav actor come with the director of Munnabhai series. With Aamir he touched unexpected successes, yes PK may be objectionable but he directed most loved film of last 20 years 3Idiots for which he deserves huge respect. At least not the insulting comment like that these Raju hirani is nowhere near to Guru dutt. Even guru dutt proud on him if he alive today.

It will be Good movie as it is based on book Mumbai avenger .Which is about phantom (ghost) of Indian army who is at duty after his death . I Think its Good movie to watch it is an action thriller movie based on Mumbai 26/11 . it will be one of hit/super hit of this year .
