The theatrical trailer of Phantom is out and the film is being promoted as “Produced by the makers of KICK” and directed by “Director of Ek Tha Tiger and Bajrangi Bhaijaan”
The much-delayed Phantom finally sees the light of day next month and it couldn’t have released at a better time. Kabir Khan is being hailed as one of the best directors in the industry and he returns to directing a sleek action thriller.
“America ne Osama ko andhar ghus ke maara, toh hum yeh kaam kyu nahi kar sakte” asks Saif Ali Khan in one of the many hard-hitting dialogues in the trailer.
Footage of India’s most wanted man, Hafiz Saeed, addressing a rally in Pakistan, where he asks the Indian government “Have you proven that ISI was behind the 26/11 Mumbai attacks? It’s been 6 years now, what have you done?”
Unlike Bajrangi Bhaijaan where the message was of peace between the two countries, director Kabir Khan takes on the Pakistan’s state-backed terrorists attacks and the Indian government’s inability to take strong action. Like Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub says in the trailer “Yeh log kitna bhi attack karle, hum log toh kabhi kuch nahi karte sir, sirf cricket khelna band karte hai sir”
Moving on to the performances, from whatever we get to see of him, Saif Ali Khan has does well, but his performance looks similar to ‘Agent Vinod’. Katrina looks beautiful, but her dialogue delivery is unsatisfactory yet again.
Overall, a good trailer, a little too similar to films like ‘Baby’ and ‘Agent Vinod’, but the overwhelmingly positive response to ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’ should bring a lot more people to the theatres to watch Kabir’s latest film ‘Phantom’.
The film releases on 28th August 2015.

I just saw the trailer of Phantom . It is not exceptional but it is good . One thing is confirmed no matter what happens this movie will be banned in Pakistan . It will strange that one movie of Kabir is doing thunderous business in Pakistan and one movie will not be released in Pakistan . We need more kind of movies on these topics because filmmakers are afraid to show such topics on screen because they fear that people might reject this movie . One thing that will affect this movie is its similarity with Baby because both Baby and Phantom are based after 26/11 attacks . But Kabir is not as talented as Neeraj and Saif is also not as talented as Akshay . Unke Ghar Main Ghoos Ke Maarenge !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I liked BABY & AGENT VINOD !! I like these type of films a lot !! So have a huge expectations from PHANTOM !!
It’s gonna be awesome. Heard that Katrina will be doing some action sequences in the film. Who cares about acting? She is not as good as kangana in terms of acting but she looks more believable than Kangana in action sequence. Watch Ek tha Tiger… She’s got sexy aura…and the international looks

another action thriller on terrorism… a parallel love story,one item song and feel gud factor… thats it… its been the history of bolly action thrillers.. hope it dznt turn out an ett or agent vinod… industry needs masterpieces like d-day,baby,madras cafe…
Looks like a mixture of D-Day, Baby etc.. but still trailer is awesome and looking fantastic.. know i knew why Kabir didn’t sign bhojpuri Bhaijaan for Phantom instead of Nawazuddin Bhaijaan as Phantom was a performance oriented movie unlike nawazuddin Bhaijaan.. kabir ne bhi sochoa hoga chalo Nawazuddin Bhaijaan ke liye sign karta hoon waha Nawaz aur harshaali bacha lene apni acting aur expressions, dialogue delivery se, kamse kam unki wajase Bhojpuri Bhaijaan bhi acha legne lagega aur expression less Bhaijaan ne expressions na bhi diye toh log Harshaali aur Nawaz ki wajase maaf kar denge.. quite sure movie will be better than Nawazuddin Bhaijaan as well as looking performance oriented film unlike Bajrangi…
So what if Kabir give us BB even farah khan give good movie like Main hoon na but after that she gives crappiest films TMK & HNY
Katrina is looking beautiful but her dialog delivery is not so good , saif ali khan doesnot suit the role of an action hero, the plot of the script is luking great full of action ,the whole film is depended now on only kabir khan .
Edgey & raw kabir khan is my fav director he blends the politics with characters so good excited for phantom now i have to skip brothers for phantom. Love BB & phantom by kabir khan :)

I THINK KABIR KHAN NEED TO MOVE OVER FROM THIS PAJISATAN RELATED FILMS AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.OTHERWISE AUDIANCE FWILL REJECTS HIS FILMS DUE TO THEIR PREDICTABILETY.I THINK LIKE MASALA GENRE FILM HIS FILMS WILL START TO FLOP

Ban despite positive WOM struggled to cross 100 Cr, so where is phantom ij comparison. Saif should stick to rom coms like DCH, hum tum, LAK, Cocktail, etc.

Pakistanis should not cry here,Phantom is not against any of the common people of Pakistan but against the terrorists operating from there who killed innocents in 2008 mumbai attack.
We all know,even the whole world knows Pakistan supports proxy war against india since they were defeated badly whenever they fought against us.
The whole world knows Osama bin laden was caught from Abottabad,Pakistan..still pakis think,it is India behind the proxy war.
You pakistanis could have also cried when hollywood made Zero Dark Thirty but then they are Americans and Pakis can’t survive without them.

Akki’s acting in baby was absolute overrated and Saif will act better in Phantom. And Gobar is back is not even worthy mentioning, it deserves Golden kela awards.

this movie is not against muslims. its against terrorism. and its based on real incident 26/11 which was done by pakistan. kabir khan ty for making movie like bb and phantom. people should learn lesson from them.
