Bollywood’s leading director, Vikram Bhatt and ASA, a corporate dealing in steel and safety match industry, announced a joint venture on May 18, 2007. The path-breaking tie up will involve an investment of Rs. 100 crores to produce cutting edge Entertainment Content roping in all new fresh talents and make concept oriented meaningful cinema.
Together ASA & Vikram Bhatt will create & produce concept oriented feature films under the newly formed joint venture company, ASA Films. ASA will provide its management expertise in operating the joint venture company besides utilizing the JV Company to line produce its feature film productions. Vikram Bhatt will execute and complete the production of the feature films under his directorial capabilities. The joint venture will identify scripts & produce feature films that will be either exclusively be directed by Vikram Bhatt or will be directed by various talented directors like Deepak Tijori, Manoj Tyagi, Girish Dhamija.
