Oh My God has opened to a decent response at the box-office on Friday. Despite the presence of a big star like Akshay Kumar, it was well-known that he only had a special appearance.
The film has fared better at multiplexes. The reports are good, so the film is expected to pick up for the evening and night shows.
The other release this week, Kamaal Dhamaal Malamaal was the sequel to the 2006 super-hit Malamaal Weekly, which collected more than 25 crores nett at the Indian box office (big numbers back then, for a film without the presence of major stars).
Unfortunately, the film wasn’t promoted well and most weren’t even aware of it’s release. The result? A dull opening and the reports are poor too.

just came back after watching oh my god, must tell u first time i liked a akshay kumar movie in my life, it is a must watch movie, paresh rawal rocked and producers showed immense courage to make this type of movie and it has strong message…salute to the makers of the movie

Being a shahrukh khan fan , i admid that the movie is realy good ….I can see , Like aksay kumar fans , most of the srk fans liking the film cause we prefer quality , storyline and deferentness , not the cheap masala movies , which all are almost in same theme . OMG contains a realy good storyline and diffierentness ….
