Very few actors in the industry survive a decade, but only those with acting talent, charisma and fan-following manage to complete 2 and a half decades.
Ajay Devgn, who made his debut in ‘Phool Aur Kaante’ back in 1991, has completed 25 years in the industry today.
The actor tweeted “Against all odds. Still here. 25 years down the line. Only because of all ur love and support. Humbled.”
One of the few actors to win two National Awards – for his performance in Zakhm in 1998 and The Legend Of Bhagat Singh in 2003 – Ajay has also delivered outstanding performances in films like Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai (where he played the iconic role of Sultan Mirza), Company, Khakee, Apaharan and several others.
Ajay is also popular in the Singham and Golmaal series of films.
Two National Awards.. Awesome. While other popular actor than him still can’t win it. And people will say award shows is scripted because Ajay won, and not their idol
Congrats to one of the most chilled out actor we have funny how people call him insecured when he has faced the biggest challenges in his early career despite having orthodox looks he still remains the youngest debutant actors to win a Filmfare award with his 1st movie and I guess also a National for best lead popular. Shivaay did not reach the destination it deserved to have but with much lower ticket price and almost double footfalls that Adhm says everything all. Looking forward for Bdshaho but hope Golmaal 4 gets another release date because of my favorite actor Sir Akshay Kumar!!! One of the few actors who could have easily been no.1 had the Khans not succeeded.
