Post-Dilwale, Bollywood actress Kajol seems to be one actress who never ages. She took a break from movies after she had children, but was seen in a couple of movies like ‘Fanaa’ and ‘My Name Is Khan.
Now that her children are grown up (younger son Yug turns 6 this year), the actress is all set to appear in more movies.
“I hope I will be seen on screen more… I’d like to work more now. I took a break right after ‘My Name Is Khan’ (2010) because my son was born and then he was still very young. Now my son is five years old.”
She went on to say that her next film will go on floors this year.
“I will be starting a film in the mid-2016, but no, I am not planning to do three films a year like Shah Rukh Khan, in any way. I can’t work as hard as him.”
When asked about the effect that working woman have on the society, Kajol said ”It’s important for women to work. In whatever area they choose, women should work. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be about going out of the house and working. But the work ethic has to be understood that it’s not only a man’s job to be the breadwinner for the family. That’s where our women’s equality has to start.”
Strong words from a strong lady. We hope to see Kajol back in action very soon.
Sad, Kajol got flop Dilwale for her come back. She should accept the films with Aamir Or Salman or hritik for biggest blockbusters. Wrong choice with hakla makes thefilm Dilwale flop.
