Bollywood actor-filmmaker Aamir Khan features in one of the most awaited films of the year, “Dhoom 3”, he says he is not thinking about how many records it will break.
Reacting to reports stating that he has claimed that “Dhoom 3” will surpass the business of Shah Rukh Khan’s “Chennai Express”, Aamir said in a statement:”I am not interested in breaking records. I am an artist, and what gives me a high is to entertain my audience, to give them a good time, and to satisfy them emotionally.”
Aamir’s last release “Talaash” was appreciated for his performance, but the movie couldn’t mint too much moolah. The actor believes the challenge does not lie in building numbers at the box office, it lies in winning the audience’s adulation.
“I want to earn the love of my audience. That is what I am thirsty for. I like to challenge myself and do work that I have not done. I like to surprise my audience.These are the things that I am interested in,” said the versatile actor, who will be seen in a negative role in “Dhoom 3”.
Aamir has just returned to Mumbai after month-long training schedule in Australia where he had gone to learn a special dance form.
“Dhoom 3”,which is the third instalment of the Yash Raj Films’ franchise, also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif. It will release on December 20th.

@yash its great ce beat 3I and srk deserves that achievement, but you r saying that if ce got 3 normal week than it can achieve 300cr or more yaa as per official 250cr looks relaistic if its gets but the main achievement of 3I success is that it achieved 200cr at that time when no one dare to think or imagine that any movie can do 200cr, it looks relaistic now a days only due to 3I that now audience,trade are expecting 300cr from big budgeted movies like K3,D3, it doesn’t matter if they achieve or not but now we can imagine and have hope one day will get these figure, so that was 3I biggest achievement, its done by Aamir khan so whether its was good script,Great Director Raju Hirani & cristmas period or best product whatever reason you wantto bring you can, but truth is that the Lead actor of that film was Aamir and as per Bollywood we treat any film success on its Actor basis. though i liked your thought as you not compare Ce with 3I.

@sameer i skip AKAT,AAA,Raakh,1947 Earth only due to as they were risky but not so different that time, Movie like Raakh based on Rape incident done before, AAA is Same like Comedy by two lead actor done before Remember govinda’s Aankhen, Earth based on partition which was not too new topic in Bollywood might be presentation could be different and i haven’t seen that movie yet. AKAT different but a love story finally. And i compare only those movie of Aamir & srk which i had watched more than once.
