Actor Ajay Devgn has denied reports that he will do a cameo in Rohit Shetty’s upcoming film ‘Dilwale’, starring his wife Kajol and Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan in the lead.
Rumours around Ajay’s cameo in the film began doing the rounds when the 46-year-old was photographed having dinner with SRK earlier this month in Bulgaria, where the film’s shooting is in production.
Talking to IANS about it here, Ajay said: “That’s not true. Its just a rumour. No I’m not doing a cameo in ‘Dilwale’. It was a coincidence that when I was there, at the same time they were shooting in Bulgaria. I went there for the location of ‘Shivaay’ and then saw Shah Rukh and the team there.”
Ajay was in the capital on Tuesday for the promotions of ‘Drishyam’, his forthcoming thriller drama, which is releasing on Friday.
Ajay and Rohit have together made hit films like the ‘Golmaal’ and ‘Singham series, ‘All The Best: Fun Begins’ and ‘Bol Bachchan’.
Asked about his return to a Rohit Shetty film, Ajay said: “It all depends on the script. If the script would be right, I would love to work with anybody. Right now I have ‘Drishyam’ and after this ‘Shivaay’ and ‘Badshaho'”
Directed by Nishikant Kamat, ‘Drishyam’, which is an official remake of the Malayalam film of the same name, also stars Tabu, Shriya Saran and Rajat Kapoor. The film releases in theatres on Friday.

Ajay d realised that doing crappies like ‘Himatwala’ & ‘action jackson’ were enough , no doing craps anymore & that’s y he wisely rejected a cameo in ‘ding dong wale’ knowing very well that it would be a much bigger crap than his movies.
Also ajay knows how opportunistic & shallow srk is and had there been any other actor other than srk he would have definitely agreed for a cameo in his friend shetty’s movie (even if it had only varun) but definitely not for the ever opportunistic srk.
Drishyam should have released a week later and especially when BB is still on a phenomenal run at the BO, it is all set to get a poor opening & would have a below average weekend but I am sure the movie would have very positive wom and would eventually do well at the BO in long run , I am expecting it to do at least 70+ crores but more than that I am excited to see ajay back in his ‘intense acting’ form , really can’t think of any other actor other than Nana patekar or Irfan khan or manoj bajpai or nawaz doing justice to the role Ajay will be doing in this movie, expecting another award winning riveting performance from him & if the remake is atleast 80% as thrilling & interesting as its original then 100+ crores is a realistic possibility.

ajay has given a 32 cr opener and five 100 cr movies whereas akki has just 3 and highest opener is 15 cr.. and i dnt see brothers breaking singham returns opening.. so just on the basis of bigger fan following than ajay,akshay is a superstar… even amir has lesser fans thn akshay… :-D
