There are three film releases this week – Sunny Leone’s One Night Stand, Vikram Bhatt’s horror film 1920 London and the multiplex-targeted film Traffic. None of them are expected to pose any threat to last week’s film ‘Baaghi’.
However, the Tiger Shroff starrer has shown bigger-than-expected drops on Tuesday and Wednesday, so it’ll be interesting to see what sort of numbers ‘Baaghi’ manages to put up this weekend.
There is also the Hollywood film ‘Captain America: Civil War’ which releases in theatres tomorrow. But that film too is unlikely to impact the business of ‘Baaghi’ which is performing very well at single-screens.
Second weekend of around 13-14 crore would be huge for ‘Baaghi’. It would help the film earn ‘super hit’ status and also give it a chance to become the 2nd highest Hindi grosser of the year after ‘Airlift’.

In Maharashtra It is nothing in front of Satirat.
In Kolhapur city, Baghi is running on almost 8 shows while Sairat is running on more than 24 shows.
To compare the buzz of film I always compare the number of shows that film is having on one of the multiplexes in Kolhapur. The record of highest no. of shows is on ofcourse on ETT’s name, it was 16. But since then no film has gone past 12 shows. In fact, after Kick no film has gone past even 10 shows. But Sairat is running on 12 shows and also they are increasing shows with each passing day. 2 days ago there were 9 shows, yesterday 10 and today 12. If tomorrow they increase it further then it will be really huge for a Marathi film.
BTW felling really good to see a Marathi film doing wonders at box office
@Indic:be you’re such a hypocrite first you published a article that Baaghi is on a excellent run after Tuesday collections came out and now you stated that it has shown bigger than expected drops in tuesday too.And btw at you mad 4 new fims are releasing next week and it won’t affect baaghi you’re mad it will lead to decrease in too many shows of baaghi abd als 1920 and obe night stand are for single screens too but at the end the effect of civil war will be huge.

Don’t under estimate the power of a content rich film like ‘Traffic’. It’s very sad that you haven’t published any articles on traffic.
Hand to hand action redefined by Baaghi but except Tiger this movie has nothing else to offer.
