Eros International’s NH10 has done well in its first weekend at the box office, as the film showed decent growth on both Saturday and Sunday.
Considering the star-cast and genre of NH10, the landing cost of NH10 (Rs 22-23 crore) was on the higher side. Also, revenue from other sources will be limited for a film like NH10, which effectively means that the film has to recover most of its investment through theatrical business.

NH10 needs to collect somewhere around 35 crore to recover costs and the film would be declared a HIT if it manages to do business in the range of 40-45 crore.
The costs are just a little lower than Varun Dhawan’s Badlapur, a film that went on to collect Rs 50 crore at the domestic box office.

They certainly won’t be recovering any costs internationally, as they’re not releasing it here in the UK

The weekend collections of the movie are pretty good . Today is a really important day for NH10 if it maintains it can be successful but it drops then it will be difficult . I have not seen the movie . I have heard some extreme reviews some are praising the movie on the other hand some are saying it is an average movie and it could have been better . It takes guts to produce a movie at the age of 26 and that is the biggest achievement of her carrer till now . If this movie is a success it will give her the confidence to do more different and risky movies .
I have heard nothing but great things about the movie from my friends n family who have seen this movie- even this morning I finally read two reviews from my fav not so strict but entertainment loving critics who wrote nothing but nice things about the movie. Just a shame I wont be able to watch this one in theatres but looking to get a dvd copy in the next week or so n catch up with the fun. Good job Team NH10 and love you Anushka
