Bollywood superstar Shahrukh Khan, who is currently in New Zealand for the his Temptation Reloaded tour, was greeted by New Zealand Prime Minister John Key here Thursday night.
Khan was given a traditional Maori welcome and presented with the official cricket shirt of the New Zealand cricket team.
While thanking his hosts for the warm welcome, Shahrukh said spoke about his visit to the country more than a decade ago. He also said that he would love to shoot a film in the stunning locals of New Zealand.
The Prime Minister welcomed SRK’s interest in the country as a potential film shooting location and also invited the Indian cricket fans to travel to New Zealand for the cricket series in Jan – Feb 2014.
Shahrukh is in Auckland for him Temptation Reloaded tour, along with other stars like Madhuri Dixit, Rani Mukerji, Yo Yo Honey Singh and Jacqueline Fernandez. The concert will be held today.

@fazil : I am a world citizen and have witnessed empty auditoriums when srk performs. Bolne ko kuch bhi bolte ho yaar. next year if srk does a show in Greece another srk fan with some other id will say I am a Greek and witnessed something unimaginable. Lol !!!!!

Zahidi show is hit n lot of people bought it in last minute. Only thing was its was very expensive but had 95 percent occupancy despite such high price. N srks my name is khan chak de swades r quality movie.trying to compare salman n aamir combine to srk sorrry but they are not global.srk rejected movies not for stupid shows but to thank his fans he is doing this to go places n entertain us. Haven’t seen actors doing this n getting such love n support.can salman do a my name is khan srk did koyla as action dabang idiot. @fazil : living in overseas n talking about indian audience taste does not make sense. I agree CDI, Swaded n MNIK belonged to srk but he can never do a Lagaan or Rang De Basanti or Taare Zameen Pe (Aamir directed too) or a Ghajini. Same for Dabangg n Tere Naam. So all the three Khans are different n have an unique style. Wearing police Uniform is not an acting but carrying it with persona is a delight for audience. Audience are not fools to make a movie into a Blockbuster in which hero beats 50 people single handledly. They enjoy watching it (though it is not logical) coz it suits certain actors who looks tough n a paisa vasool entertainment for people. Srk cannot do that though he is good only at romantic/emotional or character roles. The tough guy just does not suit him. and come out of the year 2006 my kiwi friend its been 7 years n Earth has rotated more than 2500 times. I wonder you are from NZ who still lives in 2006.
Laagan n taare zamen par was good movies.but director its an option n amol gupte story is something we all aware of.gajni was good movie but 1 time watch. But buddy U seemed to be changing questions dynamics. M not particular in say 2006 but its a filmograph we talking like u are talking about 2001 movies. But my point was not that actors gotfilmography year by year m still confused u R hrithik fan or Salman.
