Hrithik Roshan’s Mohenjo Daro is sustaining reasonably well at the box office and the percentage of growth and drop over the extended weekend was quite similar to Rustom. But the problem remained the same, while Rustom is performing at a very high level, the collections of Mohenjo Daro are way too low to give the film any chance of recovering costs.
The fate of the film will be dependent on how well it performs on Tuesday (today). Anything less than 4 crore will be curtains for the film, while a strong hold at around the 5 crore will mean it could go on to cross the 70 crore mark.
A hugely disappointing total on Friday raised fears that Mohenjo Daro will be the biggest disaster of 2016, but the growth over the weekend has probably pushed the film from ‘disaster’ to ‘flop’ territory.
It still has one open week at the box office and a strong hold on Tuesday will mean it’ll retain more shows than it otherwise would at multiplexes in Week 2.

Dissapointed with the failure but it will not affect hritik career he will bounce back with kaabil but worried about Pooja she is gorgeous & a very good actress but the failure of MJO may seal her bollywood career hope she gets few more in future.
it totally crashed in Mumbai, delhi/up & east Punjab, so 3.5cr looks very tough today, thanks to the independence day Holliday otherwise it would have finished at below 40cr…next Friday Happy bhag jayegi is releasing so Mohenjo daro will b wiped out from theatres, biggest flop of this century

I think hritik shouldn’t postpone kaabil let srk release his rice all salmaniac will support kabil & eventually it will be another 50 cr for global king which will be a treat for all true Indian.
Hrithik needs to do more movies and he should avoid clashes as simple as that.
He has left out of few big movies & chose Siddharth Anand’s next action movie.

Dissapointed with bhai can’t understand why he supported rustom, I think which may be the reason many salmaniac would have ignored MJO, srk fans are not supporting MJO as they want MJO failure which may give a chance for raees solo release, akkian definitely not supporting it finally media they are after MJO after so much negativity around a movie which had a bad trailer and promos earning 40 cr in 4 days not that bad though hope hritik will be back with bang I want to see Salman & Hritik to be the ruler of bollywood

Hrithik will have 2 big release in next year . Last time when HR have 2 release was way back in 2006 ( Dhoom2 & Krrish ).
I am happy he is not doing Thug because Thug is a Periodic Drama ( 18th Century ). Means it will take another 15-18 months.
Thug is a big budgeted movie. So , it can be risky one.

If MD would have got solo release it would have been a hit for sure.. its a good movie but due to competition with RUSTOM which is slightly better then MD ( as per me) its getting affected..but its still a long way to go more 2 holidays ahead PARSI NEW YEAR and RAKSHA BANDHAN.. hope so it will collect there and atleast emerge a hit

Even Rahul dholakias most films are flop/disasters. Srk is coming from a megaflop FAN, which means both Hrithik and Srk are on equal ground.
But Hrithik will win the clash, as Srk is old, boring, and has lost all his charm. A good trailer of Kaabil is enough to seal Raees fate.
