Q. How well are the songs of Sultan received? Has the buzz increased and is the buzz equal to that of Fan?
A. No comparison between the promotional campaigns of FAN and Sultan. FAN was the most poorly planned and marketed Shah Rukh Khan film in a decade! They released two teasers and both were out in 2015 – months before the film hit screens. They released the only song in the film (which wasn’t even included in the film), before the theatrical trailer. This resulted in the makers not having units in the last one month to give the audience something new. What were they (YRF) thinking?
On the other hand, the same team hasn’t put a step wrong with Sultan. Perfectly announced, shoot went as per schedule with the PR team constantly working at keeping the film in news and they eventually ensured that ‘Raees’ moved out too. The Sultan teaser was well received, trailer was huge and the songs have worked well too. Everything has worked for Sultan so far and it’s all down to content clicking with the audience.
How did it go so horribly wrong with FAN – a film that was expected to do 100 crore even in the worst case scenario – while everything seems to be clicking for Sultan?
Ans. A bollywood’s semi retired flop actor who has given Maximum number of disasters in bollywood and most ugly looking wannabe actor and hardly has any fan following except one or 2. Also he is unknown in any other country outside india.
I dont know that much about the promotions but on thing is clear, i find SRK a better actor and human being than that criminal sallu.

That song that was omitted from the main movie was another let down “Jabra “. Yes d movie was not universally accepted but to be candid Srk did what he was suppose to do. His acting was very nice. looking 4ward to Raees.
@Salman Fan & Mash CHY- Who is Lallu? Lallu has such great ‘megastardom’ that outside India he’s a nobody and cries over SRK’s record blockbusters overseas. Lallu has such great stardom that he had to wait 10 years to achieve the superstar tag since he was a nobody for the entire decade of 2000’s. Lallu is such a great superstar that inspite of acting in multistarrers( including Akshay, Amitabh, Anil Kapoor, Kareena, Preity) for an entire decade he couldn’t see the face of success and bhaitards complain about SRK’s multistarrers. Lallu is such a great star that he still hasn’t been able to give a hit in clashes and has lost all the clashes even to female oriented film like Fashion. And Lallutards compare SRK with Lallu when SRK has given blockbusters in clash.
