While Salman awaits the release of his upcoming film ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, the superstar has said that he doesn’t believe in the constitution of marriage and that the concept of ‘happily ever after’ doesn’t work in today’s times.
Salman’s statement contradicts his director Sooraj Barjatya’s firm belief in Indian values and arranges marriages.
“Marriages are not for lifetime now. Time has changed. It is about ‘temporary shaadi’ now” Salman said.
Earlier, Salman had said that he is open to arranged marriage, but added that no one has sent him a proposal yet.
“Nobody has sent me a proposal! If somebody does send me one, I will seriously consider it. I am open to arranged marriage. Sometimes, love marriages don’t work and arranged marriages do. And sometimes, it’s the other way around. It depends on the individuals, how they go about their lives, how compatible they are.”

@Damnnn . That’s why he is an actor. Acting is a profession. Had every actor stuck with your logic many of them would not be as famous as even a stage drama actor in the nearest college in your city. Personally I feel not comfortable with his marital status but again he is very handsome rich famous and started acting when we were kids so am sure he has his own personal reason which both of us might never know. So just allow the guy and stop all these tv serial traditional Sanskriti issues.
