Manwa Laage featuring Shahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone has crossed 2 million views on Youtube. The song has also gone viral on social media websites like Facebook and Twitter – where #ManwaLaage has been trending non-stop at the No 1 spot in India for the last 24 hours.
The impact of the Vishal-Shekhar romantic composition, picturised on the entire cast of Happy New Year, has been much bigger than the first song Indiawaale which got a mixed. Sensing a chartbuster in the making, the makers have also gone all out to promote the song.
Even here on Indicine, the Manwa Laage page has received about 20% more views than Indiawaale, although the number of views are significantly lower than the Happy New Year trailer page.

manwa laage and meherbaan.. both in my playlist right now… addicted!!!!! while manwa laage reminded me of sajde from khatta metha n meherbaan reminded me of khuda jaane… though both have some loopholes.. arijit seemed to have sung this song forcefully, moreover, he got only some part to sing.. i would have loved to listen full on duet… although it was shreya’s song all the way… meherbaan’s starting was not convincing.. it could have been better.. from shekhar’s part it transforms mystically.. and the last stanza is superb.. amazing high and lows in between.. overall leaving aside the loopholes both are chartbusters…

Tu meri got 2.3 million views in three days and jumme ki raat got around 3 million views in 5 days. He has also said that manva lage got 1.6 million views in less than 24 hours and jumme ki raat got 5 million views within some days of release. Tell some one to him that jumme ki raat got 5 million views in 8 days and manva lage will gey 5 million views within 4 or 5 days. Manva lage is the most popular and most viewed song at youtube.
