SRK doesn’t suit here at all. may be if there was a younger actor would have been better. SRK is a complete misfit and with all the 8 packs, 10 packs he looks worse.

Finally, one good song comes out of Happy New Year. Lets be honest, the trailer was shit.. the first song promo Indiawaale was even worse.
Manwa Laage is much better. Good song, beautiful lyrics.. only thing I didn’t get is SRK burning his shirt and displaying those abs. At this stage of his career, why does he need to do what he didn’t do to get to the top? Is this insecurity? Mid life crisis? I mean, he is a fantastic actor, just act and romance. Why 8 packs and 10 packs.. he looks weird doing these topless scenes.

Have to say – Arjit is the Sonu Nigam of current era. Seriously he has a magical voice. 3.5/5 from me, just for Arjit.

I second TILU Nebhani. It’s not like he can’t act. The guy has talent. It’s just that whenever he tried something different other than romantic or dramatic roles after DDLJ, the audience didn’t accept him in those roles except for only couple of times. He was brilliant in Swades and Chak De. But Swades was a flop and I blame his fans for that. They can’t accept him other than Raj/Rahul roles. Kabhi Haan Kabhi Naa is one of my favourites and his DDLJ Raj is a reflection of that role. His fans can say that he succeeded as an action hero in Don series but we all know how big hits those films were. Mere hits! He is a superstar but only because of his romantic roles. He is not versatile as he has failed in other genres. AB was an angry young man but he was equally successful in romantic/soft and comedy roles.
