Main Tera Hero has opened to a decent response for the morning shows on Friday, with all-India opening of around 35%. Multiplexes opened to average collections, while single-screens were comparatively better.
The reports are good and the afternoon / evening shows at multiplexes have picked up, but the T20 cricket match between India and South Africa, which starts at 6:30PM, will affect business.
Much like Shaadi Ke Side Effects and Ragini MMS 2, the Sunday business of the film could also be hit if India make it to the World T20 final.
The opening will be much lower than Ragini MMS 2, but should be better than films like Hasee Toh Phasee and Highway. The morning shows were at around the same level or slightly lower than David Dhawan’s last release Chashme Baddoor.
I guess 6crs opening is on cards!!!

Varun is getting positive response from critics for this film, wish audience will feel the same.i hope it will collect 6.5cr on first day and 23cr in weekend. Good to see talented young actors Ranveer,Varun,Shushant,Arjun,Sidhharth is watch out for.I hope bollywood will have good future star ahead after Khan trio,ajay,akshay and Hrithik. And Ranbir is leader of them.

definitely farhan,kangana,sunny,varun are bigger star than flop king akshay,with out south film and multi actor he couldn’t have ability to give at least a hit status.it’s big doubt holiday could cross ragini BMB/mms2/queen/mth’s collection,akshay and his fans are so insecure of KHANS,how many times this puny star will get slap from KING KHAN by clashing with him,atill flop king’s fans are saying akki has bumper opening although movie would be disaster.as ranbir acted in film besharam but akki and his fans are real life besharams.if you hook up with them there may be chance you could admit in mental asylum.really they are real life jokers and losers,lol.

@Khiladi Ur comment is illogical…………………how can u compare the box office of a comedy masala film which wud have a wider audience than a serious film like MNIK?? Also MNIK relesed in 2010 in poor release month of Feb, H2 came in lucrative IPL time in 2012 so H2 had more screens and with inflation higher ticket prices! Plus H2 was big multistarrer film which saved Akki from the abundance of flops he had recently given! So Akki didnt give 100 crore ALONE, it was multistarrer with equal important performances from Ritesh, Sheyras, John, Rishi Kapoor, Mithun, Boman, etc so give them their due credit too!

Srk fans seem overconfident but know that Akki was the ruler of 2007-08 with back to back hits, more hits than srk gave in 2009-2013. In 2 years Akki gave more hits than srk gave in 4 years. Akki is the true king.
