Lootera background score plagiarised from ‘One Day’?

Loved the background score of Lootera? We did too. Sadly, like a reader (Suniel) on our website pointed out on the trailer page, the background music has been plagiarised from Anne Hathaway’s ‘One Day’.

The credit for the score should in fact go to the original composer Rachel Portman, not Amit Trivedi (Note: Trivedi has been credited as the music composer of Lootera, not confirmed if he has done the BGM too).

Videos of both the tracks below. You be the judge!

The trailer of Lootera..

  • Yes its background score has seemed to be copied but its trailer iz awsome nd i havent seen such a trailer before in recent past and i was waiting for it and i hope this movie will show real acting skills of both the leading actors and i am looking frwrd to this movie and indicine i think there was no need to give hype to that its background score is copied plz nd u also have admired it alot so think about it

  • Background Music clearly copied.
And the trailer shows this film will only work in Multiplexes. It has no scope in Single Screens.

  • forget it who copied, from where copied…! Just look at the trailer, its amazing…amazing and amazing…

  • nowadays in bollywood whole movies are copied & pasted from south then if BGM is plagiarised so whats the big deal ! the bottom line is the trailer is awesome!

  • This film is looking like One Day!!! why are ppl so dissing this!!! Bollywood can talk , Ready, Dabanng, Bodyguard, Rowdy Rathore and many many copy tamil malayam etc films!!!!if they copy Hollywood then the film will have class not the OTT car crashes and action!!!!! Trailer looks Awesome tho!!!!!!
