Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 Movie Review

Kya Kool Hain Hum has become a profitable franchise for Ekta Kapoor as the previous 2 films became big money spinners. So it makes sense that they’d make a third part. It makes sense that the King of raunchy comedy films in Bollywood Tusshaar Kapoor has been cast in it. We all know what to expect from the film. Does it actually deliver on its promises like Barjatiya heroes or does it break our hearts (and other organs)? Let’s dig in..

Story: Kanhaiya (Tusshhaaaaaar) gets thrown out of his father’s house. He has a BF, best friend called Rocky (Aftab, unfortunately not as handsome as John Abraham). They land up in Thigh-land at their friend Mickey’s (Krushna) condo. To earn money they become pornstars there and spoof famous Indian films like Kick and Singham. The twist occurs when Kanhaiya falls in love with a girl called Shalu (Mandana) and her father turns out to be Alok Nath’s long lost sanskari brother who probably only uses Patanjali products. Kanhaiya has to impress his girl by making her father believe that he and his his entourage are sanskari people. But more than impress he ends up pressing a lot of unwanted stuff.

Screenplay and Direction: Seeing this film made us want to have a rich producer sibling so that we could afford to not work and yet get some pocket money while spending time with scantily dressed women in exotic foreign locales. Tusshhaaaaar is leading the dream life of a Desi bachelor guy. Umesh Ghadge, the director, leads the third part of this popular series into the same direction as the first two films. The dialogues provide decent laughter if you are watching the film with pumped up hormonally charged teenagers, and they provide free awkwardness and stares if you are watching it with your family members. Quick question: Does Gizele Thakral (kyun Thakral hai?) have bigger lips than the parrot?

Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 Movie Review

The costume design is the most breathtaking part about Kya Kool Hain Hum 3. It takes special talent to come up with clothes for the actresses which get shorter and shorter as the film goes on. The costume designer should be India’s official entry for the AVN Awards. The editor seems to have cut off the tailor’s budget alongwith the scenes! Not a bad job, at all.

Acting: Tusshhaaaaaar Kapoor does a fantastic job as a pornstar and he’s proof that Indians can make it in this field. He’s THAT convincing in the movie. Aftab is a veteran now when it comes to this genre of soft porn comedies. Mandana Karimi can’t emote. She acts better on Bigg Boss than in KKHH3 but hey the lady has her hotness going for her. Unfortunately, the other two ladies Gizele and Claudia are neither good actors nor good performers. Krushna hams it up like only he can. They should have cast Sudesh Lahiri in this film, maybe then it would have been really funny!

Conclusion: Why don’t the producers of the Masti series and this series come together to make an Indianized Avengers type porn comedy film? That might break all records and close down schools and colleges. People are going to be really confused with Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 and Mastizaade which releases next week. We all know the reason you might choose to watch either of those films – it is Tusshhaaaaaar. It is the best time to be his fan. Go watch Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 if you need an Airlift to a different plane of debauchery, or you can be a Saala Khadoos and choose to watch movies which don’t make you squirm.

Pros:

  • Tusshhaaaaaar, he’s fantastic
  • Mandana Karimi’s sanskaar
  • Game changing costume design
  • Gizele’s lips
  • Woman empowerment by taking off clothes (Thanks Ekta)

Cons:

  • People will confuse this with Mastizaade
  • Sudesh Lahiri is missed whenever Krushna is on screen
  • Woman empowerment by taking off clothes (Thanks Ekta)

Rating: ★½☆☆☆

  • Wow.. DEAR INDICINE TEAM, Good review and you make us entertain by your sense of review. Just one word ROFL.

  • Ek jagah airlift jise kise ne 3/3.5 Se kam nahi diya ek jagah ye porn hai jise kise ne 1.5 se jyada nahi diye aur bhaut ne to 0 star bhi diye

  • best indicine review ever…
    i laughed alottt…
surely i will nt watch this childish watsapp comedy bt ur review entertained us.
    5 stars to ur reviews…

  • I really dont understand Peoples views in India!! Some films are just meant to entertain whether its comedy or a sex com but what do critics expect? its rich coming from a country like india where majority of ppl are so desperate for porn!! but watching it on big screen is a no no!!! Jaago India and accept all kind of cinema!!!!

  • Your review makes no sense..
You gave Dilwale higher rating than BM inspite of BM being better
& here u gave Airlift higher than KKHH3.. So you can guess it !!

Will watch Kyaa Kool Hain Hum 3 tomorrow definitely now !!!

  • when dilwale lost against bajirao mastani it meant that audience have finally realized and gave a good film like bajirao mastani a chance and made it super-hit and above average to dilwale so therefore audience will once again make a wise decision and go for airlift and it will be clean-hit… tough luck for KKHH 3 and mastizaade (which will lose against r madhavan’s starrer sala khadoos) only great grand masti 3 will be super-hit to blockbuster since its one on the highly awaited film…

  • Havent watched the movie yet. But overall it seems that the vulgarity continues to increase with each new part of such movie franchises and the box office collections also keep going up.

For me, comedy still means Angoor, Chupke Chupke (Amitabhs), Golmaal (Amol Palekars), Jaane bhi do Yaaro etc.

  • Apart from the original hit maasti with Ajay.. I haven’t watched any of its franchise
Same wit kkkh. The only movie of TK I liked was Khakee where he and fellow side actor Akshay did well and then that shootout @wadala.

  • If you are a straight man, then there are 4 actresses to watch this movie for…But I have to say, other than sex(Which they obviously didn;t show), there is no comedy..The first half hour is put there for no reason…The only thing enjoyable is last 20 minutes which are funny and the best scene in movie is Ritesh Deshmukh’s cameo which is 5 minutes long scene….I really loved KSKHH as it was very funny and Neha was extremely hot without shedding most clothes…here they bare it all and end up with wasting everyone’s time…This has to be both the lead’s worst performances ever…But at least it is full of eye candy :P
PS The parody scenes they show in the movie are not even funny and I would like Indicine team to dedicate a straight male reviewer to these type of films
