Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 has also done reasonably well on Day 1 at the box office, as the film has collected Rs 8.15 crore on Friday. The film opened well in the morning at mass centres, but noon shows showed a downward trend at several centres, before picking up again in the evening.
The Tusshar Kapoor – Aftab Shivdasani comedy is carrying mixed reports. The fate of the film, which was sold for a good price, will now be dependent on how well it sustains in the next few days. The makers are banking on the youngsters and hoi polloi to come out in big numbers.
Most of the business for Kya Kool Hain Hum 3 is coming from single-screens and multiplexes at smaller centres. Mumbai circuit has performed well on Friday.
The first Kya Kool Hai Hum film in 2005 collected Rs 95 lakhs on its opening day at the box office. The second film in 2012 collected Rs 7 crore. There were expectations that the third film would do around 9 crore, but has fallen short.

salman last three superhit (mind it prdp ww 400)if raone,dilwale,kank are not flops & part of continuous srk hit record,then jai ho is also part of salman’s last nine back to back 110+net domestic & all nine of salman are hits. So nine hits back to back by salman which is close to srk’s hit record. But if we talk about consecutive blockbusters salman having five,srk didnt have even two/three back to back blockbusters. Srk may have overseas bcz he tours some countries to promote his film & collect money as he does in ipl. Then if they discount billu,we can discount salam-e-ishq,heroes,hello,main & mrs khan(sohail has much more scenes while salman has more songs like billu),babul..

Good Collection. Kya Kool Hain Hum is One of my Favourite Franchises So KKHH3 pehle dekhunga and then Airlift.
If Akki was in KKHH3 then first day= 4 crore
If Tusshar was in Airlift then first day= 15 crore
Indicine Your Both Predictions are in Accurate..Bcuz the difference is more than 10%in Both the Cases….Under 10% We Can Understand.
Without Clash it will collect over 13Cr+ on opening Day……But looking its genre & only Male appeal,this collection is also Good………….But this type films do not show much growth over weekend so it will finish its business Between 40-45cr.

Airlift => PF = 12.35cr & TF = 11.02cr
Difference = (12.35-11.02)Cr = 1.33cr
KKHH3=> PF = 8.15cr & TF = 6.75cr
Difference = (8.15-6.75)Cr = 1.40cr
Total Day Different =
(12.35+8.15)-(11.02+6.75)cr
= (20.50-17.77)cr
= 2.73cr
well predictions are difficult to match with reality as u can never predict if a film is good or bad before release .. nowadays only one thing seems sure, a Salman or an Aamir film will get unanimous acceptation and a Srk film would get mixed reactions from everywhere, other than that u can never know if a normal hindi film can be good or bad until release!
Indicine you look at the number of screens both films are having then the buzz and star casts. Airlift leading in all departments yaar. So for Tushaar to achieve 8.15 and Akshay 12.35 it shows how close Tushaar stardom is overtaking highest flop master Chakki. Look at agneepath jai ho they are opening day is big because of stardom. Am even crazy comparing Maestro Hrithik with Chakki. Chakki statistics when ever he clashes with b grade stars on January the difference is only always 4.5 crs. 2015 difference between DkD and baby was just around 4.5 2016 difference is still 4.5 with b grade Tushaar. Meaning something is wrong Chakki stardom is undergoing natural law of diminishing. He is no more a superstar. A superstars is Hrithik who clashed and got 27 c against Haiders 8 crs maximum a gap of almost 20 c. Srk Dilwale opening was also almost double of Deepikaranveer starrer. Again on Srk his difference in clash with ouatimd was almost 3 times Chakki 33 c opening day. Those are called a superstar. The question now is when will Chakki ever give us 100 c? Hrithik rules admit it Makkians.
All the akki fans are giving the excuse multiple release-multiple release. But Varun dhawan also released 3 movies last year and two of them collected over 100cr. It’s time for them to accept varun dhawan>>>flopshay..

To all those saying Tushar is bigger than Akki, congrats as your logic is awesome…So a film like Airlift which is a film appealing to classes only has good reviews while a mass targeted film with a couple of hit songs, part of a franchise and having the genre of Adult sex comedy and string thin clothing designs…
@js saajan was Sanjay dutt movie with Salman in supporting role, hum saath saath hai was multi starrer with all mohnish, saif and Salman in parallel roles and no entry was Anil kapoor and fardeen khan’s movie with Salman in only a special appearance. Be fair and neutral when you make a list.
