About 10-14 days ago, Shah Rukh Khan announced the release date of his ‘dwarf’ film. He took the biggest weekend of 2018 – Christmas. This was a refreshing strategy from his side as he generally announces release dates, after his film goes on floor. Obviously, Christmas also raises an ‘Aamir Khan film release’ question which was then cleared when Aamir took Diwali for his film ‘Thugs Of Hindostan’ with Yash Raj Films.
Suddenly, there comes an unexpected announcement. Rakesh Roshan announces Krrish 4 for the same weekend i.e Christmas 2018. Almost the entire world was aware that Shah Rukh had taken Christmas (which is more than 2 years in advance) for his film. This decision from Roshan who’s an experienced producer / director does sound like strategising.
Was this clash planned or was it just coincidental?
The reason could well be the other big clash between Shah Rukh and Hrithik, scheduled to take place during the Republic Day next year.
Earlier this year in January, the Roshans had announced the Sanjay Gupta directed ‘Kaabil’ as the first big release of 2017, a date which was initially occupied by Ajay Devgn’s ‘Baadshaho’. A few month later, in May, Shah Rukh averted the clash with Salman Khan’s Sultan and pushed his film to Republic Day 2017. This announcement not just angered Rakesh Roshan but also resulted in him immediately releasing the first poster of Kaabil, thereby intensifying the clash further.
After continuous meetings between both Shah Rukh and Roshan Sr. nothing changed and the clash is still on.
The Roshans are definitely upset by the fact that Shah Rukh is releasing his film on a date which was already announced by them well in advance .
Now the same thing is happening with SRK – this time he announced his release date almost 2.5 years in advance – before anyone else could – and Filmkraft announcing their film for the same day just a few days after SRK’s announcement, brings up certain questions.
There are reports that Krrish 4 was announced without a proper script in place, so was the reason for locking horns only so that they could indirectly put pressure on Raees to move to another date?
Now if a clash like this happens, it will be a heavy one with both films costing upwards of 300 crores. It will almost be impossible for both films to make profits.
But monetary-wise, both Krrish and Aanand L Rai’s dwarf film will suffer and so will their stardom, especially for SRK as both his contemporaries Aamir, Salman are doing so well.
Having said that, Christmas 2018 is a long away and anything could happen in between. But for Shah Rukh or Hrithik to have an upper hand, the success of Raees or Kaabil is very crucial as both their previous releases (Fan and Mohenjo Daro) bombed at the box office.

As per my knowledge Rakesh Roshan just officially announced that Kkrish 4 is happening but there is no detail of its release date in his statement.
I think Kkrish 4 is happening and thats for sure but there is no official announcement or confirmation of its release date…Christmas 2018 is just a rumoured date..

ANY SORT OF COMPROMISE WILL BE BAD FOR KRISSH AS WE NEEDS HAVE WTACHED LOT OF HOLLYWOOD SUPERHERO FLICKS…
2) ITS A WELL PLANNED STRATEGY BY RAKESHJI..AS WE CAN SEE WITHIN FEW HOURS ALL THE BUZZ HAS BEEN SHIFTED FROM “TIGER ZINDA HAI” AND “THUGS” TO DWARF AND KRISSH.
3) SO ITS NOT TIME TO ARGUE AND FIGHT ON THIS AS WE ALL MATURE ENOUGH TO UNDERSTAND THIS GAME..
AS A SRK FAN AND EVERY HRITHIK FAN ITS INFACT A ENJOYMENT PERIOD AS OUR IDOLS MOVIE ARE HAVE BEEN IN TOP LIMELIGHT RIGHT NOW..

The announcement of Raees to clash with Kaabil was first and foremost an act of treachery … SRK stabbed Rakesh Roshan on the back …. and now Rakesh Roshan has rightly retaliated and hit back …. the man is respected and why would SRK’ians expect him to take the betrayal in stride & move forward …. there is a big difference between what SRK talks and walks …. his power and influence is waning & now people will want their piece of flesh ….
The problem is that 26 January is too far…
Papat boy is going to face clashes for the rest of his career …..!!!!!!

If you say Srk in bad phase then also he is far better yhan non-Khans. Hrithik have more bad phase compare to any other actor. Fan collected 186 crs ww. If you there is nothing except SRK Sardom. On other hand Dilwale did well in overseas. Bajirao was an awesome film audience have to spend on best. Still collected 300+ ww . How you compare jadoo boy who just defeated by kumar in budget + collection. Get a life Roshans compete with Ajay and Rabir first than kumar forget about SRK.
You can only did a film like Khish and force parent to watch it and copy hollywood movie and action bang bang.

Roshans are so desperate that they try anything to save Kaabil. But I don’t think SRK will be fooled by this strategy. And K4 will flop anyway, even as a solo release, cause the third one was disliked by many.

Anyway krrish4 has enough time to write script and making their film. And they can release film on time.
Krrish4 should release on Christmas 2018. It will destroy dwarf film on Christmas if clash happen.

Even if it is mind game by Rakesh Ji then also he is right in his place, this over-actor haklu deserve this…..And those who are saying that they cannot complete Krrish 4 in time, to all those Idiots 2 year is a long time to complete a big movie…..And Srk is not the only one who have the VFX setup, today YRF also have it’s own VFX…
Its better that SRK moves Raees to another date..

This is nothing but pre planned strategy by both srk and Roshan sir…if raees postpone from 26 jan to other date everyone will say look srk bhag gaya and so many thing so they decided that spread rumor that Krrish 4 will also clash with dwerf
After some time they will release news that Raees will postpone from 26 jan and Krrish 4 will postpone from december 2018

If this clash happened then K4 will smash dwarf ruthlessly…..Because Krrish is 2nd most favorite franchise of Bollywood.Even sharuk knows that very well.No one can dare to clash with krrish or dhoom series.so Mark my words dwarf have to shift…..if K4 coming in Christmas2018.

Even though I am a huge & die hard SRK fan, I am highly dissappointed with SRK in this matter. This speculation about K4 releasing along with Bandhua clearly indicates how upset Rakesh Roshan is with SRK postponing Raees to 26th Jan which has resulted in both highly anticipated Raaes & Kaabil clashing with each other. I think SRK should prepone his movie by a week becoz just to please his friends Adi & Salman he postponed Raees & now he is ruining his old long standing relation with Roshans who are also his good friends. SRK what kind of a logic is this that just to please one section of friends you will displease your another section of friends.

To those who are claiming that Rakesh ji is playing the mind game
KRRISH 4 in making news are floating around much before king dwarf booked his film on Christmas 2018 and also were report that Krrish4 is set to release on Diwali 2018. But @Indicine not reported that and it is not fault Indicine readers except Indicine himself.
Since Yrf booked Diwali 2018 for TOH, so KRRISH 4 team has no option other than Christmas 2018 as Eid 2018 has no long holiday weekend (as Eid falls on Friday).
So Rakesh Roshan has booked Christmas 2018 for KRRISH 4 is great strategy by the man who knows business very well in Hindi Cinema and it is not mind game for making way for KAABIL by forcefully pushing Raees.
KAABIL is releasing on 26th January 2017. If Kaabil faces clash then it is fault of srk because Raees budget is around 150 Cr including P&A. So it is impossible for Raees to get even average and forget about hit or above because Raees is clashing with much lower budget (around 80 Cr including P&A) film KAABIL which has every chance of getting HIT verdict at the Box Office.
Overall Pressures are on srk to get solo for Raees as it will recover tittle more money as budget is very high for the film like Raees than in clash. Pressures are simply not on ROSHANS.

as Drarf King will not take dare to release his film with High on Action film KRRISH 4 which is crystal clear water.

This is a mind game by nervous Rakesh Roshan.
He is very worry about Hritik career.
And he do this in frustration.
Rakesh Roshan can’t bear a single clash with big movie, if he will clash his K4 to Srk ALR next than K4 ,Hritik and Filmcraft will sink infront of Srk and his movie.
And Srk can bear 10 big clash like Rustom and MD,and Dilwale and BM.
But Rakesh can’t bear a single big clash.
Because he will taste his lifes biggest clash on 26th Jan 2017.
And than he will realize his mistake.
If Rakesh want to release his movie K4 on Xmas 2018 so he he should na.
Who will stop him. But a film already announce that date before 2.5 years than what type of logic is this to announce same date. He can announce K4 release date in Xmas 2018 in 1_year advance. But he announce same date in 2.5 years advance.

Everybody is blaming Rakesh Roshan, but why is it not possible, that Rakesh was planning to announce Krrish 4 in 2018, and since no one dare touch Eid and YRF booked Diwali, so the only option was Xmas for a big franchise like Krrish.
So, looking at this, why is it not possible, that Srk tried to grab that date by announcing it a week earlier?
It could be that srk is playing the game by deliberately announcing the date.
All this while when srk has himself said he doesn;t announce unless the movie is being completed, then how can he suddenly announce the date without the movie going on floors?
Also, who says that the script is not finalised by Rakesh?
The last Krrish movie released almost 2 years back, so there was enough time to get a new script finalised.
Hritik Roshan mera 2nd fav actor tha after My God SRK but ab ALR-SRK movie ke sath K4 ki clash ki khabar sunne ke bad i start hating Hritik… In future i will never watch any Hr movies & also convince all my friends to do so…
