Krrish 3 has collected Rs 23.5 crore on Sunday to take its 3-day weekend total to Rs 71.5 crore net. This includes business from Tamil and Telugu versions, that has contributed around 4.8 crore to the total.
A lot of people have asked us about the controversy around the box office collections of Krrish 3. Since every trade analyst and trade websites are quoting a different figure, most exhibitors have been strictly asked not to reveal figures by the distributors. So apart from the ‘official’ producer figures there is no other authentic source out there.
Also, for a film released on 4000+ screens (widest release ever for a Hindi film), how can any trade source track collections from a small town where the film has released, apart from the estimates provided by the distributors or producers?
Krrish 3 Weekend Collections (Hindi version + Regional version = All India Total)
- Day 1 Friday – 23.5 + 2 crore = 25.5 crore
- Day 2 Saturday – 21.15 + 1.3 crore = 22.45 crore
- Day 3 Sunday – 22 + 1.5 crore = 23.5 crore
- Weekend Total – 66.65 crore + 4.8 crore = 71.45 crore
Considering the fact that Krrish 3 released during the pre-diwali period, these are fantastic numbers. No other film has managed to collected 20 crore+ on the Diwali day. Comparisons with other films coming up right here on Indicine!

In india,krrish was the first superhero movie.than raone and k3 came.i hope k3 will inspire bollywood to do more superhero and sci fi movies and improve it’s standrd.no matter,whoever be your favs,try to appriciate good movies.
Original collection is 51 cr for weekend, Thank you, you are doing nice jobs providing fake numbers. You might be getting some big money from roshan family but you are losing faith on your website viewers. Imagine what happens when no viewer will trust you and no body visits your website Then these producers will refuse to pay you and you are finished.

2) boi figures r saying 48 CRORES for 3 days. but these figures are 71. that’s whooping 23 CRORES in 3 days. that’s almost 1 full day revenue. so at this rate till end there might be difference of more than 70 CRORES.
Even Ra.One did record business for 5 day weekend before nose diving. After tomorrow Krrish 3 will meet the same fate. Dhoom 3 with Aamir will show what record setting means.
I dont care about boi figure because it fails to consider small centres.in case of huge movie like k3 or ce,there wud have been so many small centres and boi doesnt include it .thats why it shows less collection.

Boxoffice india says 54crores including telugu n tamil but you r saying 70+crores!!. Havent seen such a huge miscalculation of 15crores in the span of 3 days. Just rediculous how people manipulate to try to break records. Shame.
The Krrish 3 weekend was hit by the Pre-Diwali dull period. The film grossed 34 crore nett in its first two days and Sunday will be down a bit as Diwali Puja hit business in North and Central markets by around 15-20% though Mumbai and South are better. The Sunday collections will be in the 14-15 crore nett region which gives the film a weekend of around 48-49 crore nett for its Hindi version. The Tamil and Telugu version grossed another 4.50 crore nett approx.
This is the first time that a big film like this has been released Pre-Diwali so there is nothing really to compare with so it will be the Monday and Tuesday business that will actually tell how good this weekend actually is or actually is it good?
The next two days will decide whether this near 50 crore nett number is huge or the film lost momentum with a pre-Diwali release despite the pre-release hype.

Just came out after watching krrish3.. And by joe am I disappointed!! Had huge expectations but the movie failed on almost every front.. Only action scenes are cool.. Rest is bakwas.. Music to we all know is bad.. Big fan of hro but this time am let down :/ dont know about how much it will collect finally.. But repeat value is zero! Cmon hro n rakesh sir.. U r capable of much much better..
P.S 1. The vfx is not really as gud as was promised
2. Dont know about odr cities but here at chandigarh tickets r very easily available.. Even my show ran with 50% occupancy
why every site published total figure of Krrish3 ( Hindi + Regional)… ?? when Ra.One released everyone talking about only Hindi version collection… 115 cr. collection of Ra.One come only from Hindi version no one include regional version collection (same case with Don2)..
@Indicine.. If Krissh3 collect around 30cr. today (monday).. & collect 100 cr. from both version ..then it considered 100cr in 4 days.. or count only hindi & declare around 95-96cr in 4 days ???

a film collects its 70% in first week. k 3 will earn 120 cr first week.so life time collection wil be 200 cr maximum. chennai express is safe.
