Krrish 3 was steady on its second Friday at the box office. The film has collected Rs 9.16 crore on its 8th day, taking its grand total to 175.58 crore.
The Rakesh Roshan directed film is likely to cross the 200 crore mark this weekend and could go on to be the highest grosser of all time.
The film has under-performed in two states – Karnataka and Tamilnadu. In the ‘Mysore’ circuit, business at cities like Bangalore and Mangalore dropped heavily on Tuesday. In fact, a couple of exhibitors have told us that even the night shows were running to less than 20% occupancy. Mysore circuit has contributed around 5.8 crore for Krrish 3, which is lower than Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara (7.9 cr) but higher than Hrithik’s last release Agneepath which collected around 5.5 crore.
The distributor of the Tamil version of the film will end up in the red, as Krrish 3 was affected by the release of Ajith’s Arramban in the state of Tamilnadu.
In other parts of the country though, Krrish 3 has continued its record-breaking run and should put up excellent numbers on Saturday and Sunday.

I remember @ the time of OUTIM there was a difference like this.. but it was later rectified… hope this is not the case with K3 ..I’m from Goa yes a small state and collections from Goa don’t make much difference.. but I don’t really see theaters running full houses like @ the time wen ETT, YJHD & CE released..

so just one site i.e boi is giving different collection while rest of all sites are giving same collections. fact is boi is just another site like 100s of others. when 99% trade people are saying and are in sync how can we say everybody liers cause one person is saying differently .. how can boi track 4000 screens. collections. they do the method of sampling i.e they take collections of few screens and average it out. but this method fails totally when 4000 screens are involved. films don’t perform uniformly on all screens. more the screens more would be difference. so lets not call anobody lier without any proof. since 99% people are saying same thing lets go with them.

1. Chennai Express: 1st Day 29 crores, 1st weekend 87 crores, lifetime 208 crores.

when 4000 screens are involved even a 25% occupancy can make film go 10+ crore . thats why i don’t believe such low collections by boi .

we want Krrish 3’s BO collections for hindi only. if ur comparing two movie then pls compare only hindi only!!!
tamil and telgu collections come under domestic collections only . if tamil and telgu version were not released people would have watched the hindi ones . so if we talk about all india net all collections made in india should be included. even ce had lots of tamil in it :P that way whole movie is not hindi but bilingual .

Acoording to boi.co.in the Hindi version of K3 has collected 148 cr in 8 days and should have a healthy second week! These are the most accurate numbers.
Something going wrong for K3 collection as there is not anydays territorial breakdown or circuiwise data provide by Taran which he gives for CE,ETT like big movies and Taran gives Hindi collection for RAONE DON2 but not in this case and most important INDICINE also not give 100% mention record as they sure the time of ETT,CE

well, i follow BOI figures…now can anyone please explain how can there be a difference of almost 1 cr? on 8 day??i.e BOI figures approx 8cr & indincine 9.16 cr??
however 1st, 2nd and 3rd day difference is more than 5 cr each day….
moreover, i ld state one more thing …though K3 has some flaws ….but it’s a first movie of this kind…so we hv to accept these flaws….next time when Rakesh ji ll come, the work ld be more splendid …
moreover, there are no two thoughts on that K3 is far better than CE & ETT……..& it deserves to break CE record…& i am waiting for that….when BOI declares finally K3 broke CE record…..
because if a movie like CE and ETT can earn top slots…then K3 should be way ahead…though one thing still remains there that 3I was the finest product of all……….

actually k3 collections became a controversy even if we follow boi.co.in then the difference of ist week is aprox 21ce(boi.co.in 147 and other reports 167.5)…but in case of CE there was difference of 8-10 cr as boi.co.in reported 218cr
