Ram Gopal Varma has done it again – Satya 2 is his 16th back-to-back disaster. Has any other director in the history of Indian Cinema delivered more flops in a row? We doubt!
Satya 2 has collected around Rs 0.4 crore on its opening day at the box office, which is lower than the 8th day ‘Mysore’ circuit business of Krrish 3. Comparisons between the two films is unfair, but we are comparing an under-performing small circuit of Krrish 3 to the All-India business of Satya 2!
The reports are poor, so the film should collect around 1.25 crore in its first weekend and finish with lifetime business of less than 2 crore.
We called up a couple of exhibitors last afternoon to check on Satya 2. One of them said, that in a city like Delhi, not a single soul turned up to watch the morning show which had to be cancelled. The other exhibitor said, the occupancy was as low as 3-5% throughout the day.

Feel Pity For him . When I was a teen ager, I really liked his Rangeela, Satya . Long after then, Sarkar. I think Satya is Mother of all Realistic Gangster Film . But he lost his charm now. He should try something out of his genre or retire from industry . Very Pathetic !

many of his films have had the privilege of having Amitabh bhachchan in them .. who was once a superstar but now conducts a very simple show on tv… so rgv has many distinguished actors in his films to make them flop..indicine does not know this fact

Rann was a good movie
His film is disaster. Because, he doesn’t know that, to make a film blockbuster u should have a media partner like Taran or Kamal.
but still CE will win golden kela awards this year. satya may get 1 or 2!!! krissh3 already nominated for worst costumes ever.

RGV should’ve cast Vivek oberoi for SATYA 2.Cuz only vivek and Sanju baba can nail this kinda film.
Four of the flop movies by RGV has Amitabh Bachchan as lead.To much for the biggest star of bollywood..right?There is only two word to describe Amitabh Bachchan-“”Over Rated”.Sorry but,you guys all know thats true.

Just a correction..Phoonk was definitely not below average. It was a sleeper hit. Box Office India and Redif list it as a hit, and if BOI lists it as a hit, then it definitely is one (considering how they always undervalue the collection of films). In fact, Indicine also lists it as a hit, so it’s actually 10 flops in a row:
