UPDATE: Evening shows witnessed growth in business, night shows were phenomenal on Saturday. The film has collected around 18-19 crore on its second day.
Krrish 3 has failed to sustain at the box office on its second day, as morning and noon shows have witnessed drops in the range of 40-50% at most centres.
A few circuits like Mumbai, Mysore, Tamilnadu/Kerala are steady, but business in North India seems to have been severely hit by Pre-Diwali festivities.
The other factor in play today is the crucial India vs Australia cricket match that will decide the 7 match series, which has also had an impact on business this evening.
We spoke to a couple of exhibitors who expressed hope that the film will pick up from Sunday evening and put up excellent figures on Monday.
The word-of-mouth is extremely mixed. It looks like those who have walked in with unrealistically high expectations have walked out disappointed. But the rest, including children who watch films without any preconceived notions or expectations, have enjoyed every bit of it.
1st of all guys don’t ever diss sum1s hard work, hritik has worked very hard for this move, 2nd just like Ra1 superhero movies r world class movies with the vfx specials, Srk made that for his kids and now Rakesh roshan has done a fabulous job, plz watch it its a very good family with kids movie

boxofficeindia early estimates were(at 9 pm) 18 cr,so we expect a difference of 2 cr with the trade so it will be easily 20cr which is quite good….but again if trades say its 25 cr then it will be confusing……..the difference shouldnot be more than 2-3 cr for about 20cr approx

How do you expect a film like krrish 3 to be a hit when it has absolutely cliche and boring storyline ripped off from countless hollywood movies with vfx worse than shaktimaan and songs that are worse than construction site noises. Krrish 3 is worse than even raone and will be a much bigger flop thanraone.

If ppl are quoting taran adarsh figure here then they should know that that guy almost always quotes producers figure. His reviews and box office trackings are a joke in the business.
