UPDATE: Evening shows witnessed growth in business, night shows were phenomenal on Saturday. The film has collected around 18-19 crore on its second day.
Krrish 3 has failed to sustain at the box office on its second day, as morning and noon shows have witnessed drops in the range of 40-50% at most centres.
A few circuits like Mumbai, Mysore, Tamilnadu/Kerala are steady, but business in North India seems to have been severely hit by Pre-Diwali festivities.
The other factor in play today is the crucial India vs Australia cricket match that will decide the 7 match series, which has also had an impact on business this evening.
We spoke to a couple of exhibitors who expressed hope that the film will pick up from Sunday evening and put up excellent figures on Monday.
The word-of-mouth is extremely mixed. It looks like those who have walked in with unrealistically high expectations have walked out disappointed. But the rest, including children who watch films without any preconceived notions or expectations, have enjoyed every bit of it.

Watched K3 Today in theatre and here is my review:
First of all i want to clear i not liked Krissh1 ever though it was a good film but since it is sequel of KMG i don’t liked that movie while i love KMG too much when it released and truly loved Rohit in the movie.
now come on K3, i found First half is preety ok strictly good nothing special as far as seconf half its good for first 30 min but the rest 30-45 min or can called Climax is simply outstanding, the reason is the VFX at his best in the movie, Hrithik & Vivek characters fight and Death of Rohit and Super Power Villian of Vivek are great, Hrithik was outstanding In the character of Krishh, good as Krishna and Brillian as Rohit. Vivek surprised me with his superb performance and his deadly Laughter was great, Kangana Ranaut Steals the show first time i find Kangana Sexy and Pretty and she did his work very efficiently, Priyanka is Passable, in the evil character i found only striker Manvar good rest are nothing greats.
Some of the Great sequence i liked in MOvies are:
1. Krrish scene when he give safe Landing to Aeroplane.
2. Krrish Fight with Striker
3. Krish fight when he saved his Father outside of his house
4. Vivek Operoi Lab was Superb and its was best as techanical aspects
5. Whole Climax
but Best was Rohit’s Sun Light Invention though bit over a top but greatly excecuted.
only sad point was Rohit’s character ends in this part.
Hats off to you Rakesh sir for Providing him Best Sequels in Bollywood and for your Great Vision
Hats Off to All K3 Teams for their Hard work and for this Great Superhero Film.
Hats Off to Red Chillis Production for great VFX, Srk give us Bad Ra one but he and his production house compensate with equally good K3 VFX.
P.S.- One thing is Crystal Clear there never was, is or will be any Superhero like Hrithik either in Bollywood or Hollywood, this man having such a great personality, Talent and Screen Presence for this kind of Roles, Hats off to him. This is the only HR Movie for which i am waiting for and my wait is worthing. People are comparing it with Hollywood flicks and Saying Copied from many movies, i Don’t Know much about them as I am not fond of Hollywood Flicks but one thing is sure Rakesh & K3 team raises the Bar of Indian Cinema so fools show some respect and accepting these changes.
Rating:3.5 and 1 extra for superb Climax so 4.5 overall.
I would be disappointed if K3 misses 200 cr mark but as i think Positive wom help this movie to achieve that mark but whether it collect 200+ or not nothing matters as 200 bucks is totally worth with this movie.
A lifetime of 150 crs is out of question now…let’s see how far it can go from now onwards….

The moment I completed watched Krishh3 I re-confirm myself that King khan’s record is safe by a distance. Overall collections can be between 130crores to 150 crores depends on how soon it reaches 100 crores. With 2nd day figures coming to 13-14 crores, I think the game is already over before the game actually begins from monday. Every one thinking from monday collections will grow..these are very unrealistic in today’s sci-fi age where the entire movie will be available on net in just 2-3 days.
What attracts audience the most is 1) Star power 2) 1st day or weekend record and fastest 100 crores, if your movie doesnt match any of the three cases, it will fail miserably overtime.
No movie can go like 3idiots way by collecting less number of crores each day and being consistently to reach 200+ crores because it was perfect like DDLJ. No matter whoever acted in that movie, it would have earned the same number of crores but unfortunately the selfish and egoistic of the 3 mighty khans ie Aamir worked on that project.
One thing I should admit is that VFX is amazing in the movie. But such kind of movies have been watched already with greater depth in hollywood movies. This competition is between Krishh 3’s VFX vs Chennai express’s comedy. Always comedy genre wins over VFX in India. The best bet could have been if the movie got released on Monday and by having preview shows from sunday evening just like how King khan did with Chennai express. This strategy could have worked and with 4000+ screens it would have break the record of 1st day collection of CE and made over 37crores easily. This would have raised curiosity among audience and the rest of the week would have been atleast 15+crores. But nothing can be changed now as the FATE is already decided. Krishh3’s VFX will get awards this year (and again SRK !!!) and then either SRK CE or Aamir khan Dhoom 3 will get the best actor award this year depends on whether D3 can break CE or not. Because eventhough CE is a comedy masala entertainer, you cannot exclude the star power of king khan which actually made it possible to reach 220+crores otherwise we know Rohit shetty kind of films will crawl to 100 crores in lifetime!!. Also Aamir khan got award as best actor for 3idiots eventhough that movie had so many sub-plots and other supporting actors who have done a splendid job but this stupid egoistic aamir has taken the complete credit. But not with the case of CE, it worked only coz of SRK (Star power), Deepika’s excellent acting and ofcourse Rohit shetty’s comedy.
I watched the movie and tell you wat the movie is excellent, hatts of to hrithik and rakesh sir, this movie is sure shot blocbuster, it will definately pick up from monday…and the collection on saturday is not bad either considering the fact that its pre diwaly release, where most of the families especially in northen parts of india are confined to their homes for diwali pooja, we all know on friday krrish had a record breaking performance….
Krrish 3 is a good film but because of hrithik it will earn only 50 crore lifetime. If SRK or salman were actors of krrish 3, film would do easily 300 crore. Thumbs up if you agree

I don’t think it will cross CE box office collection.overseas collection is not also impressive . actually after CE’s box office Strom ouatimd to boss every actor’s fans are being crazy and keeping their finger crossed and result is disaster. Let’s hope they get return invested money. Hrittik fan shouldn’t keep so huge expectations,as it’s looks like outdated movie with special effect s by red chillies.vfx is the only plus point on this movie.

I saw it in Mauritius yesterday and people are really adoring it and it’s housefull all over and it is the talk of the town. Krrish 3 is a god damn movie which way ahead of current bollywood standard

the fact is boi.com like sites doesnot gett data from small centres and reality is k3 is huge in small centres.
ex:bihar got record breaking opening..bihar and k3?yeah..so all data from small centes are recieved by dist.and producers..nt sites like boi.com..this ws the case with c.e too..and second day will do 20cr and thrd day will do 16-17cr..weekend:58cr..but monday to sunday will do close to 90-100cr..just wait ndwatch..but beating c.eis diffcult..butwill come close to yjhd and ett..

yaar 1st day in INDIA is 25-26 crs which is d biggest non holiday number. WOM of the movie is really gud. dis indicine is posting all wrong numbers n most of them commenting r trying to pull the movie down unnecessarily. its quite a nyc movie nd given the fact its an indian movie, its an awesome movie coz managing such things n such low budget is quite great. and the movie is duin quite well so dres no need to be tensed for all hrithik fans
