Kick has smashed all records on its 6th day at the India box office, as the film collected Rs 21.66 crore on Wednesday. A couple of films that released on Wednesday have collected 20 crore or more (Besharam and Bodyguard for example), but none barring Dhoom 3’s 25.52 crore on its Christmas Wednesday have managed to put up such incredibly high number on the 6th day of its release.
In fact, the 6th working day business of Kick is more than the opening day collections of Ranbir Kapoor’s Besharam which released on 3500 plus screens.
Kick will be Salman Khan’s 2nd highest grosser by the end of today and will only be the 5th film to cross the 200 crore mark. The first week business is likely to be around the 158-160 crore mark, the second highest of all time behind Dhoom 3 (Rs 179 crore – Hindi only ).

Dont worry man…Although Mohenjodaro doen not have a A list herione but salman fans are good enough to give all credit of salman hit film to Bhai and other’s successful film to everyone except Hero…………..They will give all credit to Ashutosh Gowariker and singer in case of its success and to HR in case of its failure(which i dont think will happen)……Gave credit to Yo Yo also for CE but forgot that kick also have song of Honey singh….Can give credit to DP for wonderful acting but forgot Randeep and above all NAWAZ……can give credit to Eid at time of CE but now everything is Bhaijan…..Giving ticket prices all credit of success after mediocre performance of Jai Ho but now everything is Salman…..
It is a fact that that still today movie collections depends on Male lead…..keep everything same and change the main lead to Himesh (for ce,krish ,Rowdy ,Singham) will film do the same business?????No

@Sickrum, it is other way round. Eid saved the career of your thakur from falling down to the level of Tusshar Kapoor and Shreyas Talpade after under performers like MNIK, Ratoon Dot One, Con 2, JTHM etc …Salman made the eid releases huge with Wanted way back 2008.

No matter what dhoom series especially dhoom 3 was Farr batter than kick. Also the stunts in d3 and d2 were 1000000000000000 times better and grander.

Kick surpassed the expectation first time as i was thinking it will about 16-17cr, but it grossed more than 20cr and today it will collect around 15cr so total is 151-152cr, so 2nd film after d3 to cross 150cr in 7 days that’s great. It looks certain that kick will be 2nd highest grosser domestic and 3rd highest worldwide. As per logic of some srk fans who are talking here for screens and ticket rates, according to them ce was released in just few screens, it got clash from first days, srk even paid viewers to come to theatres instead of charging them, the planet where 3.7 billion fans living, movie not released as srk not get time to promote film there but still movie collect 208 or 227cr. What happen if ce not clashed, released in other planet, more than kick screens, it surely get passed 1000 billion mark, on issue he will do with hny this time. Diwali aa rahi h aur wo diwala nikalane jarur aayega, #thrash new year rocks.
