Salman Khan’s Kick has collected Rs 28.89 crore on its first Tuesday at the box office. The collections are record-breaking as the Eid holiday happened to fall on the 5th day of its release.
Last year, Shahrukh Khan’s Chennai Express opened on Eid and collected Rs 33.12 crore on its opening day. The year before, Salman’s Ek Tha Tiger collected Rs 20.64 crore and Bodyguard which also opened on Eid (2011) collected Rs 21.25 cr. Dabangg (2010) collected Rs 14.5 crore.
To sum it up, the 5th day business of Kick is double than Dabangg (2010), 35% more than the opening day of Bodyguard and 40% more than the Eid holiday of Ek Tha Tiger (6th day after release).
The Eid holiday business of Kick is only lower than Chennai Express, because the Shahrukh Khan starrer opened on that day.

i didn’t have a negative mindset. .i was very excited for watching it. But i was left unsatisfied becoz i thought it would be better n different frm regular salmanfilms. .but i was wrong finally. I got a headache n couldn’t sleep all night.

Wednesday definitely collect around 15-17cr for sure. Today Muslim state, morning show 70% occupied, Noon and after noon 90% occupied and evening 95%. So, Wednesday atleast collect 15-17cr, that extraordinary collection. Haters get ready for 250cr….

@vikram nobody unless you have a sick mind was expecting Kick to cross koyla express after 5 days- you orc- to do that a film needs to earn 45cr plus on average and those days are not visible on the horizon just yet. Chill out my friend- koyla express’ collections will be surpassed in week 2 no doubt.

My Review of Kick :
After Kick trailer stormed YouTube it generated lot of excitement n buzz n expectations soared high. Every Salman Khan movie also brings huge expectations to break records or shattering opening records. One thing is sure that the makers are more keen with total (lifetime) collections than opening or weekend else they would have released it on Eid day instead of Friday (working day) release.
About movie, it starts with amazing screenplay especially with Poland beauty n the credits which promises high production value. The first half is more of comedy & some romance however it picks up from where Radeep starts narrating about his quest about Devil. There are couple of scenes which appears over the board like Salman slapping the bearded goon in temple n all his aides disappears but thats what people expect from Salman (larger than life) & also there was no need to bring Dabangg get up in it.
The interval point keeps audience more keen when Salman appears in Poland. It also gets more thrilling when Nawazuddin role starts. The climax is little stretched but worth it. I thought the movie ends when the bus falls in river n Mithun tells Jacqueline why Salman turns Devil but there was more in it. Watch Salman dancing on Saath Samundar, anyone wud love him in that dance he looks so natural as well as funny. This time, Salman handled emotional scenes very well may be Sajid N knows how to Salman better. The last scene really gives a kick when Salman appears as an inspector. Overall, Kick is an entertainer but not upto the humogonous expectation it generated (may be Sajid N should have handled some scenes more efficiently).
Salman is the life of this movie, he carries it very well. His character is defined based on his real life personality. He shows lot of intent n commitment in noble causes. Nawazuddin is finest actor n he gave one of his best but wish he had a lengthy role. Randeep did well but not as good as Nawazuddin despite getting ample role. Jacqueline is not just arm candy but acted too n looks stunning specially in Jumme Ki Raat. I liked Hangover & Devil (Nargis version). Jumme ki Raat very entertaining but looks enforced during important part of the story. There are few flaws but Sajid Nadiadwala is way better than Sohail, Arbaaz, Anil Sharma. There was a need for some crisp Editing.
Kick also gives little Kicks (thrills) to audiences but limited. Critics or some people may always find flaws in Salman movies but I must say people just pay to watch him on screen. Kick is a real Eid treat for Salman fans n one time must watch (for the cause of the movie) for neutral fans or even his haters to know what Salman can do for noble causes !!!!!!!!!!

I believe Teesmar Khan’s Ocean’s 11 edited by Joker Kunder will be released in more screens and with much more hiked ticket prices. But I bet it won’t cross Rs 150 Crores because before that, there will be awesome movies like Bang Bang and Haider. After all, who will like to eat baasi tarkari after the fresh ones..
Besides, a hardcore SRK fan, a friend of mine, watched the movie with me yesterday. He commented “Its the best performance by Salman after Dabangg and I enjoyed it more than ETT.”
Chun Chun Ke Badla Loonga Ki Jis Jisne Abhi KICK baare mein bina waja bakre hain, aane do un logon ki heroes’ ki films, kyun ki main Case Aur Face dono nahin bolta.

Finally, Salman Ek Lambay Race Ka Gudaa Hai, whereas Sarkar is a house cart that needs Gudi Deepika and Gudaa Rohit Shetty. Without them, this house cart i.e. sarkar can’t move. Lol!

To me, you got headache because you were so much into writing your amateur review of Kick.. You can find loopholes in every movie. Even in 3 idiots! That’s called cinematic liberties. But Kick is a so fast-paced movie that it does not really give time to think.
It is not as huge as krish 3 did on its 4th day…36 cr (if someone doubts then take it 31 cr acc to BOC) so time is changed and now salman does not have even a single record……And salman still looking for ALL TIME HIGHEST GROSSER to his credit which he could not get even in his golden period……Atleast SRK,HR hold this record no matter for how much time………
