Ki and Ka was steady on the lower side on Day 8 at the box office. Because it was holiday in parts of the country, the film was expected to hold at higher levels on its 2nd Friday, but business was affected because of the release of ‘The Jungle Book’.
The IPL season begins today and the popular cricket league will affect the business of all films that are running in theatres. The impact has reduced over the years, but it’s higher at the very beginning of the season.
Ki and Ka has 6 more days to collect as much as it can, before the release of FAN on April 15.

Still will turn out to be a winner as Rs.50cr is on cards
People went to see this film early because they were curious about its unique concept, now , as critics and viewers have given it a so so score, multiplex audiences must have chosen jungle book ( a critically acclaimed venture by disney) instead of this…. or maybe people were saving money for films like FAN and Baaghi. Still decent collections though, great that audiences are giving these films a chance. 10 years ago this would have been a total washout.
45 crs should be touched with the end of this week despite competition from The Jungle Book but it may be difficult for it to touch 50 crs once FAN arrives .
The Jungle Book has blown away each & every movie this weekend.
10.5 cr Day 1, easily heading towards a 35 cr. weekend.
Now waiting for FAN.
