Karan Johar is the first Indian filmmaker to be in the panel of judges at the Miss World 2007 contest in Warsaw, Poland on 30 September.
Karan mentioned that it was the Times Of India Group, which referred his name. “I’m flattered to have been chosen. They asked the Times Of India Group to name one filmmaker as judge for Miss World. They suggested my name.”
“Although I’ve been quite a regular at the judges’ panel for beauty contests in India, this is my first brush with a global beauty pageant. I hope I can handle it,” he says.

I think Karan should make some parctical movies rather than usual “Bollywood” masala movies.
Indians are extremely fed up with movies and shot by people like Karan Johar and serials shot by Ekta Kapoor with fake-looking eloborate movie sets, make-up, and also sucking-up the seniors in the “Bollywood” industry.
These guys are driving Indians towards doom, depression and desperate.
Hope they will catch up and live it up to the modern times and do some justice to technology.
They should try to take movies and teach common Indians some manners and maitain cleanliness.

Hi, I know you from “Koffee with Karan”, which often on air by ANtv every weekend, ANtv is one of the television channels in Indonesia. Funny, honesty I never pay attention to the Indian movies and Bollywood artists until I know you. You look charming when you host the talk show.
