Jai Ho has dropped quite significantly both at single-screens and multiplexes on its second weekday at the box office. The film has collected around Rs 7.75 crore, taking its 5 day total to Rs 77.14 crore.
Looking at the way the film has been trending, Jai Ho is unlikely to beat the lifetime business of films like Dabangg (140 cr), Bodyguard (145 cr) and Dabangg 2 (155 cr). It remains to be seen if the film can go past Ready (121 cr), but unless there is a substantial growth in business this weekend, the film is likely to finish with total domestic collections of around 120-125 crore.
First week business will be around 89-90 crore.

Is #JaiHo A Flop? Its Weekend Collection was more than the collections of any other Amir or SRK film but for CE & Dhoom 3.
Jai Ho- 1) An out and out non-festive and non-holiday release, 2) Released in more Screens, 3) Ticket Price 40% lower than CE and Dhoom 3, 4) Some Section of People are Boycotting it. 5) Low-ranking casts but for Salman and film-makers
CE and Dhoom3- 1) Festive Releases, 2) Released in lesser screens, 3) Ticket Price: 40% Higher, 4) No one boycotted them, 5) High-Ranking Casts and Film-Makers.
Out of the above five-facts, only no. 2 is in favor of Jai Ho, while other four are against. And no.1, no.3, no.4. no.5 are in favor of CE and Dhoom 3, while only no.2 is against them.
These are not excuses but facts.

The biggest drawback of Jai hoo is its release in a wrong time, there is no flaw in this film, its better than many other salman films, other reason is not even a single song is a hit, direction is not upto mark, actress this time is just above average,theme is good

@Rasull ‘Jai ho’ was only a remake for Lungiwalas down south only and not for other parts of India like i live in Mumbai and never seen Stalin before so i don’t care whether it was a remake or not bcoz i watched it for the first time.Jai ho.
