Jai Ho is continuing its steady run at the box office, but the story pretty much remains the same. The drop in business during the weekdays last week has already done the damage and even though the film has gone tax free in states like UP and Gujarat, it’ll struggle to cross the 120 crore mark.
The Salman Khan starrer has under-performed in the overseas markets too, as the film is likely to wrap up with gross collections of around Rs 35 crore.
The film has “grossed” around Rs 166 crore worldwide. It will be Salman’s second film since Dabangg that will fail to cross the 200 crore mark worldwide – Ready (2011) grossed Rs 187 crore worldwide.

Jai Ho is a disappointment at the box office. I wish Salman the very best for his next movie KICK. I hope after Jai Ho he never gives chance to flop actors like Aditya pancholi, Ashmit patel etc. and flop director Sohail Khan.
Jai ho’s lifetime collection wil b >108 if I wil take boi. N according to official collections I think it wil b able to touch around 115 crores.. N it is not going to defeat ra.one’s record as ra.one collected 115-116 crores in hindi only(remember u ppl added tamil n telugu collections of d3 n k3 for better figures).. Ra.one collected 7-8 crores in both languages which gives a total domestic collection of 124 crores.. Same goes for don 2.. It collected 106-111 in hindi n 5-6 crores in regional languages… N jthj collection is lil debated so I wil not comment on dat but according to official figures it collected 122 crores..
PS so I conclude from d above analysis dat crap ho wil not b able to beat any of shahrukh’s recent movie be it CE jthj d2 ra.one.. Yeah but it defeated mnik which released way back in 2009… Lol

Jai Ho made on a budget of 65 crore..it already cross 100 crore domestically and 34.5 crore internationally and it had good amount on satelite rights.
So, Jai HO is a HIT film. May be Semi-HIT to HIT status.but certainly not a flop film. Jai HO is Hit film.
