JTHJ Runtime is close to 3 hours
Yash Chopra’s last film Jab Tak Hai Jaan, has been passed by the censor board, without any cuts. The film has received a U/A certificate.
The runtime has also been revealed.
- 1st half – 1 hour 28 minutes
- 2nd half – 1 hour 29 minutes
- Total – 2 hour 57 minutes
Runtime of 3 hours would mean, lesser shows at multiplexes and lower opening day figures. It’s good news for the single screen audience though, who prefer longer films (anything less than 2 and a half hours is not considered to be ‘paisa vasool’.

The case of Veer-Zara is different,it made bond with audience which made them to sit & its a past thing.
I remember the K3G.Ppl started leaving theaters before last 15 minutes,may be due to streched climax scene.
There are chances of getting max 2200 screens because SOS might get atleast 1800.
And films 3hrs length will cut the number of shows.
I think it will collect max 22 crs single day(opening day below it due to Laxmi Puja) & Life time 120 crs if Good WOM.
