Jab Tak Hai Jaan has dropped quite significantly on Monday. As per early estimates, the first Monday collections are likely to be in the 5-6 crore range.
While quite a few theatres in Maharashtra remained shut on Monday, following the demise of Balasaheb Thackeray, JTHJ had a massive drop at most centres.
Even a multiplex dominated city like Gurgaon (Haryana, India) witnessed a sharp decline in collections.

With business of around 5-6 crores on Monday, the cumulative total for Jab Tak Hai Jaan in 7 days (1 week) is around 85-86 crores nett. With business in the Mumbai circuit back to normal, the film is likely to cross the 100 crore mark by Thursday or Friday.
The final All-India nett box office collections to be around 120-125 crores.
JTHJ crossed 7.5 million in overseas in just SIX days, according to BOX office India, the Life time for the overseas look now to 15 million (Almost 80 crore) , & 130 in india, (total world wide 210 crore) which sallu movie collect such figure from overseas.

Legendary Indian filmmaker Yash Chopra’s last film Jab Tak Hai Jaan (Till My Last Breath) has made a rare entry into the top ten of the US box office, grabbing the eighth spot among other Hollywood bigwigs.
As The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Part 2 topped the chart with a gross of USD 141.1 million in the US and Canada.
Bond film Skyfall moved to number two in its second week earning USD 41.1 million, according to New York Times.
But more eye-catching was the entry of Jab Tak Hai Jaan, the three-hour extravaganza made by the “king of romance” Chopra, before he died last month.
The movie entered the top 10 at number 8, taking USD 1.3 million at the box office, a rare appearance for a Bollywood film in box office rankings usually dominated by Hollywood productions.
The Hindi cinema legend, hailed for directing and producing some of India’s most-loved movies over several decades, died last month aged 80 after being admitted to hospital with dengue fever.
The film has grossed a total of USD 7.58 million overseas, being the highest opening Bollywood film ever in countries like the US, UK, Australia and the Middle East, said a statement from its producers Yash Raj Films.
Jab Tak Hai Jaan is now rubbing shoulders with Hollywood bigwigs like Steven Spielberg’s Lincoln, which had USD 21 million in ticket sales, securing the third place in the US box office.

@Rishi – A lot of indians live abroad. And they only contribute to indian movies overseas collection. Also the ticket prices are way higher outside.. and since the total is coming form many contries there would be thousand of people only in each country watching it. And they are nri , pakistanis and people from subcontinent only. And in shahrukh’s case the collectoin are mainly due to past releases of his which were based on indian culture. So people living outside india used to watch them as it gave them a feeling of being indian. But still its a very handfull of population and that too indians only. And for record three idiots was the highest grossing movie outside india.
