Salman Khan is the numero uno superstar in Bollywood today, but the actor says, the challenge today is to be better than the junior actors in the industry.
“The challenges changes with time. So at every given point it’s going to change. Initially, our journey was to be better than the seniors. Today, our journey is to be better than the juniors! We thought that was difficult, but today at our age, to be as fit and to be as agile as the juniors, is ten times more difficult” Salman said.
Salman is known for inspiring and introducing new talent into the industry. When Salman spotted a young Hrithik working as an assistant director in films like ‘Karan Arjun’, he recognised his talent and worked closely with him before the release of ‘Kaho Naa.. Pyaar Hai’.
Salman was also responsible for Arjun Kapoor’s acting debut in Bollywood and now he is launching two youngsters Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty in his home-production ‘Hero’.
Talking about this, Salman said he is their elder brother who is getting younger!
“They call me Salman sir, but it doesn’t mean that I’m a teacher. I’m their elder brother, who is only getting younger”
Asked why he didn’t act or make a special appearance in ‘Hero’, Salman said “I didn’t have any role for a younger brother in the film”!

@NVS I was on no way disrespecting Salman khan or trying to downscale him anyway. Many Salman khan fans have made a big misconception about me as I am Salman khan hater or chameleon but honestly there is no such truth. In fact I live Salman khan as much I love aamir and he is my 3rd most favorite actor of this generation after Big B and aamir khan. I agree that he has huge craze amongst the country and charisma as well and I am nit denying that.but I am stating some general facts that a perfect megastar is not just about style,physique, looks, but also about true acting, versatility, and consistency. You might be his die hard fan so that’s why you have your own reasons so that’s fine but what I am giving my points also have valid truth as well. And I never denied that Salman is not megastar. He definitely is a megastar and I accept it but I just asked indicine admin to be more accurate because they always try to elude Aamir khan by posting very less articles deleted to him, they always give credit to directors or so called brand when aamir broke all records with dhoom 3 and PK which I cant stand at all. They never use such praise worthy words for aamir khan and even though the most overrated wannabe king srk who is not even miles behind but light years behind aamir and Salman is also highly overrated here and indicine give credits to him only when his film open big even though the universal fact is that it opened so big only due to multistarrer, new year holiday, deepika, over the top promotions and all. Which I hate the most and i can’t stand all these biasness towards only aamir by never giving credit to him even though he is the only megastar in the history of Indian cinema who has given 4 ATHGs which is not a cup of tea at all. That’s all i wanted to clear out. But you are wrong when you say that Aamir doesn’t have mass following because it was him whose ghajini was first 100 Cr grosser and it was watched 70% by the masses and 30% by the multiplex audience. So he definitely has great fan following in masses as well as classes with due respect to Salman khan.
