Salman Khan is the numero uno superstar in Bollywood today, but the actor says, the challenge today is to be better than the junior actors in the industry.
“The challenges changes with time. So at every given point it’s going to change. Initially, our journey was to be better than the seniors. Today, our journey is to be better than the juniors! We thought that was difficult, but today at our age, to be as fit and to be as agile as the juniors, is ten times more difficult” Salman said.
Salman is known for inspiring and introducing new talent into the industry. When Salman spotted a young Hrithik working as an assistant director in films like ‘Karan Arjun’, he recognised his talent and worked closely with him before the release of ‘Kaho Naa.. Pyaar Hai’.
Salman was also responsible for Arjun Kapoor’s acting debut in Bollywood and now he is launching two youngsters Sooraj Pancholi and Athiya Shetty in his home-production ‘Hero’.
Talking about this, Salman said he is their elder brother who is getting younger!
“They call me Salman sir, but it doesn’t mean that I’m a teacher. I’m their elder brother, who is only getting younger”
Asked why he didn’t act or make a special appearance in ‘Hero’, Salman said “I didn’t have any role for a younger brother in the film”!
But what type of talent he saw in arjun kapoor???? Arjun kapoor is a sheer flop waste..
I don’t think Salman might be feeling good with arjun kapoor as he said offensive words to Arpita khan in AIB show..

Dr. Cabbie and Bajrangi Bhaijaan were great successes; and Chillar Party produced under Salman’s Being Human banner was also a success. Salman will always be successful in whatever he does because he is very blessed.

@Eric buddy sorry to say this but the truth is that salman is Bollywood’s biggest superstar and definitely a bigger superstar than aamir as he himself and srk have many times publicly acknowledged that salman is India’s biggest superstar .
Forget ATHG & movies, when it comes to sheer stardom & crazy mass following salman is in a different league altogether , the mass hysteria that he creates and the superstarish charisma & aura that he wears on his sleeves cannot be matched by both aamir & srk , he walks like a superstar & he lives like a superstar , his body language, mannerisms, his personality, his physique , his attitude , his character & almost everything about him look larger than life – the hallmark of a genuine superstar, yes he may not be the ‘most perfect’ or the ‘ideal’ kind of superstar but for all that he is he unarguably is one of the top 3 biggest superstars Bollywood would ever have.
I am in no way disrespecting or belittling aamir & his stature in Bollywood , he too is one of the biggest superstars that Bollywood will ever have but he still hasn’t reach the level of stardom that salman has achieved , aamir is the best actor among the khans and one of the greatest actors in the entire Bollywood history , his dedication & commitment to the world of cinema, his choice of movies & his script sense, his versatility & range , his perfection for everything, his approach & personality are all legendary & are unmatched by any other superstar.
What aamir lacks when compared to salman is the sheer crazy mass following & the resultant hysteria, the rock star like character & attitude and the larger-than-life image that salman naturally has, other than these traits aamir is as good or even better than him in most of the cases.
Now u may argue that how can I say aamir doesn’t have mass following? He does have a good mass following but not to the levels of salman, salman is like an entertaining rockstar who can spontaneously entertain masses & classes alike effortlessly or with minimum effort , can’t see aamir replicating that.
Aamir has neatly sculpted an amazing amount of trust in the audience as far as his movies are concerned so much so that almost everyone irrespective of whose star’s fans they are all watch his movies (both in India & overseas) and it is the one of the main reasons why his last movies have become ATHGs, his movies are like a must watch for every movie lover and they are unique & special in the sense that they have an everlasting impact on our minds which would linger on for years and years, that’s an achievement every actor & actress ultimately dream about and only aamir has done it so successfully in this era, he is a cinema legend , an icon , a superstar and so much more but he definitely is not the biggest superstar because to be the biggest superstar one needs to have the same superstar like effect both on and off the screen and since salman has that effect he is a real megastar.
And let me tell u something about myself , I may or may not necessarily watch every salman movie but I definitely watch every aamir khan movie because to me his movies are a must watch!
