Sherya Saran and Mrinalini Sharma refused to exchange pleasantries with each other at the promotional shoot for Awarapan for a music channel in Mumbai, giving rise to a speculations about a potential problem between them. Sources say that the two even refused to do a joint interview. After the thunderous box-office response for Tamil blockbuster Sivaji, featuring Rajinikanth and Shreya, her next release in bollywood after Awarapan is Sangeeth Sivan’s Ek with Bobby and Nana Patekar. On the other hand, Mrinalini’s next is Showbiz, opposite newcomer Tushar Jalota, with whom she has been reported to be ‘very friendly’.
Mohit Suri, director of Awarapan, remarked that Sherya and Mrinalini never shot together for Awarapan for any problem, if any, to arise between them in the first place. He also said that the actresses appeared to be very friendly with each other at a recent photo shoot.
