Tanu Weds Manu Returns has taken the best start for a Hindi film released in 2015, collecting Rs 22 crore in 2 days on just 2200 screens across India. The film is likely to be the 2nd or 3rd highest grosser of the year and also has an outside chance of crossing the 100 crore mark if it surprises in Week 2 and 3.

Tanu Weds Manu Returns has been exceptional to say the least . I think it will do huge business because it has 2 open weeks . May month has been the Best month of this year because of 3 out of 4 movies have done great business and all were good movies . The loss of BV was the only blot in the month of May . I think it will be tough for TWMR to do 100 CR but i can’t underestimate this movie because people are loving the entertainment quotient . If this happens this will be the first movie to do 100 CR this year . Also it will be the first movie to do 100 CR in which the Actress had the more meatier role .

I want this film to do 100cr, the best part of Anand Rai movies that he connects the root of general public of India unlike other directors who are just making movies by showing hero and heroines for high class people, throwing parties having multiple affairs etc.It is a clean family entertainer which is what the most of Indian audience want that they can watch a movie with family.

One of those movies where the sequel is better than the first part.. Kangana Ranaut and Deepak Dobriyal run the show with their comic timing.. Madhavan and Jimmy Shergill ably support them.. Zeeshan Ayub also acts superbly in a small role as the scheming pervert lawyer Chintu..Swara Bhaskar is also good..
Credits to the editor who has designed it in such a way that it moves in a rapid pace without wasting much time.. Anand Rai is a genius director who captures the spirit of North India very well.. Dialogues will definitely make you laugh..music blends well with the story..
Overall a hilarious family movie with few social messages delivered along the comic lines.. Don’t miss it..!!!
