Now that the trailers of Shah Rukh Khan’s Raees and Hrithik Roshan’s Kaabil are out, it’s time to the start the ‘IndicineFBO’ prediction of the two films.
Earlier, both films were scheduled to release on the Republic Day holiday which would’ve probably meant the combined collections of the two films could’ve crossed the Rs 40 crore mark. But with both makers deciding to release their film a day in advance to take advantage of the night shows before the holiday, we believe around 30-31 could be divided between the two films on the opening day – assuming Filmkraft Productions’ decide to go for a full-fledged release on Wednesday (25 Jan).
Kaabil is the smaller film of the two films, both in terms of star-cast and budget. The lead actors of both films are returning after box office failures – FAN tanked at the box office in April, while Mohenjo Daro was one of the biggest disasters of Hrithik Roshan’s career.
We start with 18 crore for Raees and 12 crore for Kaabil as the initial FBO prediction. The table below will be updated once every two days, a lot could change in the next few weeks depending on the response to the music album and promos.

Those who are bashing Rakesh sir, get ur facts clear first…Rakesh sir 1st decided Kaabil date then Raees team jumped into unnecessary clash.
After that Rakesh sir and Srk talk happened but Clash remained Onn.
After that Rakesh sir decided to come on 25th jan 6 pm to get adv of next day holiday and to avoid damage of both the movies on republic day.
But again Raees team followed him and changed their release date and coming on 25th jan morning onwards to kill Kaabil business.
Those r barking here against Rakesh sir, check srk’s Insta account, he had video of Raees trailer saying comicoming on 26th Jan as a release date, this shows he got exposed and now saying we had decided very long back abt this date.
